CL, this one has an inbuilt DVD/CD player too so is perfect. I am almost definitely going to get it. Just need to also see what, if anything, I've listed on eBid has sold/will sell and then how much money I'll get from it. Also wondering how heavy it'll be as I am going to be carrying it home from Argos to save on the delivery charge.0

FE - I dont think you should try carrying it especially on a bus. I think for one woman its far too heavy especially over long distances also due to the weight you may end up dropping the thing accidently
. I know your trying to save money but I think it could cause you damage to your lower back so I would personally spend the extra on a delivery charge - do u need other things from Argos? could do it together and make life easy for yourself. Anybody who owes u a favour? Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
Thanks NG...I don't need anything else from there and cant afford it either. I'll have a think anyway as it's not even in stock til Monday.

My 15" lcd wasn't particularly heavy when it was boxed up, so it might be ok? So long as you're getting the bus home and don't have too far to walk from the bus stop to your house. But it if were me I'd probably just pay the delivery charge to save the hassle.0

Well CL, I am getting it as soon as I can if at all because it's on offer, but given that I'm going to be taking it to storage in a van anyway in a few weeks I want to keep costs down.0

That's understandable, I'd be thinking of a way to save on it too. I'm lucky as my parents would probably give me a lift.
For what it's worth I've just looked up the weight of my tv and it is 4.5kg unboxed, and the argos one you were looking at is 5kg so I am pretty sure it would be fine - I am not the strongest of people but mine was a doddle to carry, even up stairs.0 -

Nglady, sorry about the ex, that's proper crappy...as was Tyzers post...
try not to let people get a rise out of you, that's what they want...they OBVIOUSLY hadn't read all your posts, and if they had must of read something different than myself.
Not spending here is going well, i go away tomorrow to see my best friend for the weekend-haven't seen her since she came down at Christmas so can't wait...looking forward to a break from the kids( i love them but my sanity needs reclaiming lol) and even looking forward to the 3 1/2 hour train journey up to Darlington.
I am still reading this thread EVERY morning...just don't have much to post about. I spent £7 on 2 new cds on Amazon today, and £15 on a lace blazer reduced from £35 in Evans and that's all in the last few weeks...i've been good and paid of some debts and saved for this weekend.
have a good one all and i'll let you know how the spending goes. xHoping to of finally learned my lesson...slowly but surely0 -

For the first time in ages bought myself a top today - wonder if it will ever get worn? LOL also something that I have wanted for a project at home for me or else will be as a present for Christmas for someone.
