Ahhh roll on summer :) Or at least, slightly warmer weather... I'm not much of a sun lover really, but this in-betweeny 'not-sure-whether-to-wear-a-coat-or-not' weather is even starting to annoy me.

It's cold here, I still have an extra quilt on my bed, hot water bottle and thermal pjs on! Usually the extra quilt is banished to the loft by April.

Came home this evening to a dress that i had bought on ebay. Have to say it is absoloutly gorgeous, never owned a light blue dress before going to wear it with a little white shrug for my neices christening with some summery shoes :) very happy, paid £10 inc pp and its oasis orig about £80 and looks hardly worn! Very glad i didnt buy one on sat, just got to hope it fits me later on when I try it on lol, otherwise ill be right upset now! lol

I've now disposed of 2/3 of my wardrobe; the new items I got were ones I'll definitely wear and love. All the excess has either been sold, given to charity or binned.

NG, most of my clothes, the modest amount still left, is packed in boxes because I am going to be living out of a suitcase for the rest of the summer til I am reunited with my stuff. :)

I do love having less stuff; overall, I have gotten rid of about 2/3 of EVERYTHING I own....still havw 177 books pending to sell on Greenmetropolis at the moment, even though I offer discounts and 3 for 2, it's a bit slow to say the least!! :(

FE that's brilliant news about your de-cluttering. If you can't use paypal, do you accept cheques instead?

NGlady - glad you found a dress you like for the Christening.

Completelylost - warmer today where I live, what about for you?

    Evening,

NG - the dress sounds like a bargain, esp. with it being from Oasis. Fingers-crossed it fits.

Anglea, the weather here was slightly better than yesterday - very bright but not particularly warm, still had to wear a coat as it was windy. I saw someone sunbathing at their front door today and they looked very burnt! :S

Today my spends were just £1 on some cans of pop, and £3.75 on p&p. I also dropped off a huge bag of old clothes and bedding into the charity collection bin, which made me feel better. It's funny how you actually feel lighter when you get rid of stuff.

If I didn't eat between now and June 13th it probably still wouldn't fit sadly :( I think I was being a little optimistic that a silk boned oasis dress would fit me right now. Oh well, shall either Ebay it or keep hold of it for when I go on holiday and mayb itll fit then :)

I think it was rather lovely here yesterday, meant to be a heat wave?I wouldnt know I was stuck in an office :(

Aww, that's rubbish about the dress. Ahh well you never know, if you decide to sell it you might just make a profit to put towards another dress for the christening :)

I've given up keeping clothes for 'when I'm skinny' - as I'm not sure I ever will be! Have lost a good few lbs recently, but all it's done is make my size 16s loose... I'm still not into a size 14 (yet!!!!!!) Saying that, I do feel a lot fitter since I started to run.

Anyway, it's quiet here tonight. How are you all getting on? Today was a NSD for me - just spend some money posting a couple of parcels, which I don't count as spends. My monthly spends are only £34.04, and rather depressingly over half of that was on junk food :(

Hi all, Sorry it's been a while since I last posted. I've been back in the UK for 2 weeks, but haven't started looking for a new job yet. I'm enjoying the sunshine too much!

Went to the Grace Kelly exhibition at the V&A which was cool. Lots of lovely outfits.

Anyways gotta run - gossip girl is starting. LOL. :0
