hi girls, insurance does not cover this, anyway we havent got any.
I spoke CS and our hotel is ready for us, they will change the date as soon as we know when we are flying, without charging us extra. WE are happy now, as i do not work, oh is self employed, so if we are delayed one week is not a big deal for us, as long as our hotel is being kind enough to respect our booking and not charging extra.

thanks, i know... just waiting now... to know for sure when we can flight... maybe at the end of the week ? my DH and FIL are really scared of planes, so it give us peace of mind that we will only fly when is secure.

Oh dear, what have you done NGlady? :S

morocha - that's true, I guess it's for our own good that they're not letting anyone fly even though it's disrupting everything. Hope you get away soon anyway.

I have just (stupidly) eaten some Nutella on bread and now my top lip is swelling up (huge spot). *idiot* I never learn...

    Hi all :)

Well, had a spend day today :( went to the McArthur Glen outlet, and the Tula shop had a 25% off everything day. So I went in, and spotted a nice little leather purse, big enough to put my debit card in and essential money for carrying in smaller handbags and on nights out, so I didn't buy it, I decided to think it over :) (Good... so far lol) Then I went to the Cadbury outlet brought some fat free Marshmellows £0.99, then I brought a fresh doughnut £0.60 and a drink £1.30 - then I decided because I wanted a purse like this for ages Id buy the purse £5.50 whilst in there I saw a admittedly nice summer bag for £14.00 down from £45. But its made me mad, because I didn't actually need this summer bag, and I wasn't even that in love with it to be honest, so im seeing it a spend that wasn't really needed, so shall return this unless I can palm it as a birthday gift for somebody. So total spends £8.48 or £23.78 with bag.

When I brought it I was feeling so guilty - its such an odd feeling as in the past £23 was nothing and i wouldnt have thought twice.

Oh well maybe im learning :(

    Hi all,
Been very busy and although I have been reading the thread I havent had time to contribute.
Unfortunately I fell off my gambling wagon to the tune of £140 on Friday so have been very busy beating myself up over it ever since.
Back to a very strict £20-for-the-week budget this week to punish myself!

What's worst about it is that I am truly in love with the 'sweetpea' purse that's on sale on the Radley website, down from £55 to £38 - and I have been stopping myself from buying it for a fortnight. Now I have a little voice in my ear constantly singing 'You could have bought that four times oooooo-veeeerrr...'

    :(
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

    Hi girls,

Morocha glad that you can change your holiday dates without too much trouble.

NGlady  you've been very naughty, that's all I can say that is printable :D So you needed a new handbag for a new purse? ha ha

Completelylost - you allergic to Nutella? I can't eat any chocolate without getting ill - or is it something else in the ingredients that affect you?

I've got a 'face the finances' conversation this week.

Tyzer - at least you didn't fall off the wagon for more than just the Friday. So you're another handbag addict are you?

I must admit I've never been into bags and still haven't unpacked the one I bought a month ago to replace my old one with holes. I really should change them over before I lose something.
