  • Not done too well today. Took back the pencil skirt to Marks, but exchanged it for a fit and flare skirt, but it was only £5 in the sale.
  • velocity.girl - well done on clearing one of your debts. :j:j:j Bet that felt good.

NGlady: no, I paid via debit card. It was from a website... it looked really nice in the photo but it's absolutely rubbish in real life. I sent him the photos of the damage and he still hasn't got back to me  Can't help feeling like I'm being fobbed off... but I *will* return it and get my money back, even if I have to hand deliver the blumming thing!!!
    ===================

Tomorrow is going to be a challenge-and-a-half! I have to go to hospital about 30-miles away for a consultation (panic panic panicccccc!!!), and then afterwards I will have a look at the shops in the city (biiiiig city which I hardly ever visit as it's £6.10 to get there ). I'm returning some shoes to Barratts so will get £71.60 back for those.

Will probably have a look in Primark and H&M as I haven't been in aaaaaages. Well, it feels like ages anyway - probably more like a couple of weeks. I could really do with a couple of basic tops for layering.

So yeah... if I don't post tomorrow it's because I am feeling super guilty :o:o:o

CL = good luck tomorrow :)

Its what we was on about the other day - we will happily spend money, but when it comes to doing something we love which costs a bit, going somewhere different, we think oh but i cant afford it.

Well time for my weekly adding up - and I thought I was doing really poorly this week. But in actual fact.. i havnt :O In total ive spent £87.57 this week - can't help but think ive brought something and forgot to write it down.

Out of this £87.57 - I have spent £10 on easter eggs which was a necessity, £2.00 on a gift for my neice as shes under the weather at the moment £7.99 on some practical shoes for work. so already were down to £67.58... a refund of £30 out of this.. therefore ive spent after traveling expences about £37.00 that couldnt be avoided.. im quite proud of myself, daft huh... havnt had a spend today :D so wondering whether I could afford to cough up a fiver on some leather gloves from the Oasis website, which I probs can, I mean how many other girls my age aren't out getting drunk etc tonight spending loads more!

I am feeling very proud of myself :)

Had to re-edit this as forgot to add something, originally thought id spend £70 all week and was feeling good... not done quite so well! lol

    Evening all

    Completelylost, best wishes for tomorrow.

So you'll have over £70 in your hands after the shoe shop. I wonder if it will all go?

The desk, perhaps you ought to tell the company that you're discussing them on the MSE website, might make them improve their customer service.

Verynewmoneysaver -It's been years probably since I've been in Marks so was surprised when you said that skirt was only £5, much cheaper than I expected.

NGlady - your sister had a cheek asking you for £150. Did you give that much in the end?

LC - hope you had a good night out with your friends

Polly -hope you also enjoyed yourself - and that your friend chose a decently priced meal.

Morocha - when my son had shingles they went quicker after putting Vit E oil over him. Used the capsules (popped with needle - fiddly) as well as wheatgerm oil (smells funny).

VG - well done on clearing more debts.

LilacPixie - hello to you :)

Today I went out to the cafe again with my son and Iceland, library, no buying extras.

Salesaddict - hope you are ok

Angela, I did but I made it clear it was a one off. It was my mums 60th Birthday and my mum is really the glue in this family and does so much for everybody, she had a bad year last year, turning 60 loosing her mum and moving house in the space of 6 months! But I kind of argued that my sisters are all married with two incomes so really it should have been split into 7 - they pay two units each lol. ah well :)

On a funny note, im logged into a chatroom at the moment and my ex has just logged on and ive quite politely told him to bob off lol.

    Good morning everybody :)

Hows everybodies day going so far? Anybody up to anything exciting? :)

Today could go one of two ways for me. I am going to the next sale on behalf of my sister who cant pull a 3yr old and a 5mnth old round the shop. So this could give me the perfect shopping for somebody else fix and will therefore give me a low spend day... OR.... this could make me wonder into the womans section and end up purchasing things I neither want or can afford to be buying! So lots of good luck vibes ladies please!!

Angela, in the imortal words of Andy on Little Britain "Yea a no" lol.

Morning all, NGlady how was the Next Sale? May pop into my local one later. Haven't bought ANY clothes apart from work ones since Jan as am on clothes challenge but am going to look at a few Sales today. Still get good discount in Oasis/Warehouse and see they have plenty of jersey dresses and woven tops for about £10. Wear these all the time so may buy one if I would get it for about £6 with discount (I'm so tight!)

    Hope you're all well.
