Another NSD yesterday. That makes 6 this month. It must be this thread that's doing it! At least you avoided Debenhams NGlady!0

today i have cleared my catologue account so the balance was £500 in feb and it's now £0:j:j:T really pleased with myself...i've also closed it.
I've sent a full and final settlement letter for my ex tenant arrears after a strange phonecall i had from them-i've posted about this on DFW.
and paid £24.40 off my simply be account, leaving only  £926.89 left to pay.:mad: most of that is charges and interest i kid thee not!
Plan is to clear it in the next 2 months...easily done now i think, got money saved up for hols and so as OH so what ever is left from my pot will be chucked at that, i'm not behind with any payments(now anyway) and interest and account are frozen and closed.
Today will be a good day-sun is shining and i've got no money to spend on ANYTHING for a few days and i feel RELIEVED:D Hopefully the last hospital appointment today with DD for her broken elbow...she seems ok now, thankfully and got my dad and stepmum coming for tea-they do most fridays.:D
All 'i've' brought (with OH money) today is 2 kids reusable id bracelets/wristband things totalling £8.50 with p&p and £65 on our Bigchurchdayout tickets for May. should be an awesome family day out.
Did not buy any tops the other night, i was good and even though i DO need them i'm going to get them whilst on hols as i can actually try them on then and OH will pay
Hope you all have good days and welcome Lilacpixie...you sound a lot like meor maybe that should be a
Hoping to of finally learned my lesson...slowly but surely0 -
Hi girls.. the last two days were NSD for me... today it isnt... i have to go to see nana and it cost £3.20 but she gives me £45 for cleaning the house, so i have ££ left then.
My oh has the shingles and i am so stressed, i never had chicken pox nor my 2 1/2 DD but the problem is it can take up to 14 days for the symptoms to appear... then a couple of weeks to heal... well... we have holidays booked on the 20th April  I can not get ill otherwise i miss the holidays....Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -

Went shopping yesterday as my daughter needed new socks and managed to buy....... only socks . I'm sure everyone on this thread will understand just what an achievement that was. I'm not a Reformed Shopaholic yet but I'm definitely trying to get there. My Clubcard vouchers for cinema tickets arrived this morning so goin with my friend to see the new Sandra Bullock tonight. We do a Movie n Meal nite once per month and take turns to pay. Tonight it's my turn to pay so that's going to be at least £25. It's my friend's turn to pick where to go and she's quite well off so not really interested in bargain bites. I'd be too embarrassed to let her know that money's an object as she'd insist on paying and she's just such a kind person that I would hate that.0

Well - it'a a lovely day today, and I'm out tonight with the girls, hopefully I won't spend too much:D
It's my wedding anniversary tomorrow so I'm off to find a pressie for OH, SpaceNK are giving away a goodie bag when you spend £60 so I might buy him some smellies from there - then I get a pressie too.:A
Still doing OK on spending front, but am getting more and more tempted to splurge:eek::eek::eek:Save me from spending...

Yes I know the feeling to have a well off friend/sister. My sister is pretty well off, so thinks nothing of suggesting we all buy mum a pressie for her birthday and club together, im like right ok, she says she needs £150 from me
this was last year, I was working but only earning £190 a week!!
Is there anywhere you can go that happens to have any sort of vouchers online for? Anywhere that looks expensive in town which isnt etc?
I suppose movie and meal night once a month and paying every alternative isnt toooo bad - still expensive in one hit though. How about saving a bit up each week over 8 weeks £8.75 over 8 weeks would give you £70 so wouldnt be as bad?
Littlechicken, congratulations on the wedding anniversary chickHave a lovely night tonight, and couldnt help but LOL when you said ur going to get your OH a pressie around freebies u could get!

On other note, amazon has just delivered my book - and im not going out today now. NSD for me, book day
It is apparant, did i read it on here? The amount of gramatical errors, "every" instead of "ever" however, I sort of feel (sounds odd does this) but because its a dairy and its meant to be true to life that the spelling and gramatical errors help it to feel like a dairy

i know what you mean about the grammar problems in the book, it really annoyed me,makes it worse that i'm an English/English Lit major, it did my head in lol but it's such a good book...
It didn't occur to me that it might be there on purpose? So you might be right with that i just thought they must of had a really crap proof reader:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Enjoy it hun, i read it in 2 daysHoping to of finally learned my lesson...slowly but surely0 -
Yes I cant imagin it lasting more than about three days with me either VG lol.
Yep it is possible they have a crap proof reader and im making excuses for them, because some of the time it isn't just a bad spelling theyve used the wrong word! lolLearning to be 'good with money'0
