Thanks Mrs R. Most people said first 'wow, that's a bright jacket' and then that they liked it, and finally that 80's stuff was in fashion at the moment.

Result! Not long till Paris hey? Ooh la la!

    Morning!

Up bright and early today as we are helping with a house move. I'll finally have a wardrobe hopefully though at the end of the day. A wardrobe all to myself, what a treat!

Still no money from Paypal. Please allow 5 working days for it to appear in your account. Hello today is day 5, et quel surprise, rien de monnaie!!! Don't know if that was grammatically correct, but you get the idea.

Hopefully my DVD boxset will turn up today or tomorrow and I can finally have that chilled out weekend I've been longing for.

Ok I stand corrected. Just checked Barclaycard and the money has gone back onto there. So shiny new total above, taken down by £18.:j

After a very tiring couple of days, wardrobe is now assembled-thanks OH- and the bedroom is looking lovely. All the items of furniture are not the same, so it kind of resembles a furniture warehouse, but it will do for now.

Hung some of my expensive items in there. Now all confused again. Seems like forever waiting for a proper place to store them -6 years in total. Seeing them all hanging there seems like a big weight to carry.

This is going to sound weird, maybe need to get some therapy on this one. The clothes looked like they belonged to someone else. I felt like I was taking a look in someone else's wardrobe. This harks back to the old thing of not daring to wear them, in case I'm judged.

I covered this in therapy before, and basically the woman said when I told her about keeping these clothes but never dare wearing them, that I self sabotage to avoid becoming the successful person that I am really on the inside.
Now I am the shyest person ever, but from her talks with me, she said I actually seemed very confident, I just wasn't showing it on the outside.

I know this sounds odd, but I get scared of finally getting into the career I want, I skirt round and avoid the things that will lead me to where I want to be. This wardrobe is like the red ribbon at the finishing line.

I thought about selling it all. Then I could wear my bland clothes and shrink back into the background. The excuse I made to myself was that they were a chain around my neck, and I would feel better if they were gone.

I don't know. Trying not to make any rash decisions. Just taking it easy.

Even having furniture in the room is freaking me out. For so long have I been cluttered, now things are starting to look neat, it's like a physical representation of me sorting things out. Financially and emotionally. Hmmm scary.

Budget is a bit lean with birthdays, but decided not going to give into pressure and will make presents that I can afford that i think people will like. Not charging down to the shops and blowing my budget by spending £15 on pre boxed items.

I'm going to bake a nice chocolate birthday cake as I want to stick to my £5 budget.

    Happy Easter :icotbaske

Just read the above and decided that I was being silly. A spot of tears before bedtime. It's time to come out of the shadows, face up to being an adult and get out there! I might be tempted to clean a bit more later, even though I'd dedicated today as a festering day (eating chocolate and watching soppy girl films. Breakfast at Tiffanys might be in order).

OH has bought me a lovely little box of Hotel Chocolate chocolates. Of course I'll share whilst watching TV with him. :p

Not that I'm a diva in any kind of way, but he treats me like a princess, the bedroom basically looks like my room that he sleeps in. I love him because he allows me to be me, I don't feel like I have to be anyone else in front of him. He encourages my creativity and compliments me loads. :)

Anyway, you can put your sick bags down now.

I hope you all have a lovely day.

We're all going to be debt free very soon. Hold that thought. :A

Thanks. That's really nice of you both.

Just been hanging some more things up and can see where all my money went. But I have some awesome things, and if I have a daughter one day, she is going to inherit a very fabulous vintage wardrobe.

Just need to get a full length mirror now. Everyone should have a look into the mirror moment every morning and say 'I'm fabulous', because we all are!!

    xx

    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Soooo sleepy. Who knew that lifting a few clothes and shoes around, could make your muscles (or muscles under construction in my case) hurt so much? I'm cream crackered.

Wardrobe and chest of drawers are now full and there are still clothes and shoes everywhere. I'm at that critical stage now, where you have got everything out, have to tip toe or preferably levitate to leave the room, and cannot go to sleep in your bed tonight for risk of being buried alive in a mountain a rubbish.

A couple of casualties from having had things piled on top of each other at the end of the bed, lost 1 crystal out of my favorite sparkly fish brooch, and a couple off my spangly shoes. :( There must be somewhere that I could get some little swarovski crystals from that i can stick back on? Typical that they have come off places where your eye can't help but be drawn to them.

I have to admit that perhaps I have too many shoes. No, no, no I need just need a huge mansion and an awesome wardrobe like that one Big has built for Carrie. If there are any millionaires out there who have a spot of cash lying around gathering dust, don't be shy send it my way.:p

Ok realistically I need to cut down. I need to get some more sophisticated stuff, now that I'm maturing, clearly this baby isn't in budget but hey, you can dream....http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/64600
