What a beautiful day!
Achieved so far today
Bathroom cleaned
3 lots of washing done and dried
lawn mowed
hoovering
washing up
glassware put away in cupboard under stairs (it's a pain in the !!! to get to, involves moving breadmaking machines weights and various other rubbish to get to)
lawn edged
weeding
Still a bit of weeding to do, but there were lots of ladybirds in the border giving each other "piggy backs", so I thought I'd better give them their privacy. Honestly, one bit of sunshine.....
Oh well, hat off to them, beats doing housework.:D

What a great day you've had! Love the style of the wardrobe, but I'd want it cream and distressed a little....
And thanks for kind words, this is a great place in a crisis.....

Was a little bit spendy this morning, getting in supplies for this evening.
Everyone is driving so just trying to make a few non alchomoholic cocktails. Was a bit naughty and spent needles pennies, but I did get some of those cocktail umbrellas and indoor sparklers for the choc muffin pudding (did think about putting them in the cocktail glasses, but didn't want to set the house on fire, or have any burnt hands and hospital trips on my hands.
Will take the £15 out of next months spare spending money £70, therefore leaving me £55, shouldn't need anything, so hoping to come out of the end of next month with that still in the bank.
OH has kindly left all his junk in the kitchen including an rkive box full of old paperwork, which should be nice and heavy to lift up the stairs. Sheets to wash and hoovering must be done again. Cream carpet and man sock fluff grrrrr. Why is it only mens socks seem to shed this fluff?
Anyway must get on, got to see if other friend is coming tomorrow, and need to reply to my lady re the fact that I won't be issuing a refund. V dodgy, she sold this item under another name, and by the look of the pictures that she put on there, if the stitching was loose, its because she has poured herself into something that is clearly too small for her.
I always get out of other peoples way, everywhere and get walked over. Not this time.!!

Nearly there, 1 1/2 hours to go till everyone arives, just need to hoover everything, mop kitchen floor, wash hair, then clean bathroom and put in fresh towels. Good job we are having non alchoholic cocktails. One sniff of the barmaids apron and I'll be in the land of nod. Oh well good nights kip tonight before preparing all over again for more guests. Hard work but it will be fun. And on the plus side, now I have hosted I'll have three other evenings of being waited on. Yay!

Had an awesome evening last night, so glad I did it. And I have managed to be quite MSE with it too, including todays entertainment I will have spent the grand total of £24.90, which included drinkies, goody bags and indoor sparklers for the pudding. I'll take it out of next months spending money. Tired now and got to get the house ship shape for todays visitor.
Hope you all had a good friday.
xx

All partied out now. Going to dedicate the rest of the day to slobbing. It was nice to discover this weekend actually that I'm happy with my life, and the goals I want to reach. I don't regret any decisions that I've made, and I've learnt that just because I don't do things like those around me, doesn't mean that I'm wrong.
Contentment.

Decided I am going to add a debt free count down in my sig, so even when the amounts still seem to be high, I can see the time that I'm going to be forking out for this going down 1 week and 4 days to pay day, not long before i can take another chip off those totals. Also if I can squeeze it in, number of months not having used a credit card. The nervous sweat I broke out in, when I made the decision to stick with my old Virgin rate (hence rendering the card unusable), now seems like a distant problem. I budget now, and don't have that extra pot of available cash that I saw on my credit card. Will be having one splurge though on friday. If the website doesn't crash. The outnet 1 year anniversary £1 sale. You are allowed to buy one item, and if I manage to get anything and get to the till (moreover if it is a pair of Louboutins purchased with my own cash) I will be supremely chuffed.
Going to take my switch card out of my bag so can't even be tempted to hit the shops tomorrow lunch time.
Feel a bit rubbish giving nephew cash for his birthday, but what do you get a 15 year old, who seems to have no interests except his computer. Can't afford computer games, and there's no doubt he'll get all the latest everything anyway, so even if I could afford what he wants, I'd probably end up duplicating the gift and taking it back anyway.

Just found the below which would be really helpful. Although it is aimed at Christmas presents, could be used all year round. Gifts for adults could be, you do their ironing, walk their dog for 1 day, 2 days or a week.Parents, you could offer to mow the lawn, or do 1 to 2 hours gardening. The only expenditure is your time. Have to say I'm struggling with the 15 year olds gift though.
