was going to say well done or handing in the case study but now need to say i'm sorry it failed. Good idea to explain the background to the grade.0

Thanks guys. The general case study was ok, but the referencing was a bit random. I knew that as I was doing it.
I do need to go on a speed reading course I think! Some of the references are articles but most of them are government documents or bills or investigative reports... you know, the kind of thing you'd probably only want to read if you were an insomniac! And if it was only 100 pages, you'd think it was short!
Today, I had two goals: catch up on sleep! (I've been getting about as mch sleep as SouthernBelle* must get given the times she posts). Done!
And gut the bedroom. So I've been playing on the computer instead!!!
I'm now going to try a different online tack with paying the bank the inland revenue money to my RBS loan as work has been so hectic I haven't managed to nip into the branch. If it doesn't work, then I am booking a bank visit into my work diary as though it were a client as I worked over my hours last week so no-one can give me what for.
Then I am going to lock myself into the bedroom and try that 15 minute rule.
Once the flat is back to tip top condition, I'll be much better abke to concentrate on the case study and new module (the new module is forensic behaviour so could be quite interesting).Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Harrumph!
Last time I tried to pay money to the loan, I tried to transfer between the two accounts as they are both with the RBS. It wouldn't let me.
Then I had a mine lightbulb moment one night at silly o'clock as I was trying to drop off to sleep. I realised I could have added myself as a payee and transfer it using the the account number and sort code.
So that was what I was trying to do! But the stupid RBS says the account number doesw not exist. it is most definitely the correct account number as all the details are online.
So it is just the RBS being aerosols!!!! Pah!
I might try a wee experiment to see if I can pay a tenner from my A&L or Co-op account to the loan. If that works then I will be playing tennis with my money and counting down the days I can tell RBS where the can shove their accounts!
The RBS loan is now sitting at £9,217. 60, so psychologically, it's under the 10k!
And I have £3,200 to pay toward it, so I could bring it down to £6017.60, if I can get the bl00dy money into it!
Actually, scratch the tenner experiment... I'll make it £17.61, so I can take it to just under the £6k mark!!!
Or a tenner from both A&L and Co-op accounts to make it £5997.60...Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Right, £10 winging its way from A&L to RBS loan account and £10 winging its way from Co-op to RBS loan account. Both processed by the respective paying banks. Neither seem to be on the faster payments thingymebob so neither have yet been received or shown as pending, when I checked RBS loan account again.
RBS did however ask me if I wanted to complete a customer satisfaction survey on their online banking! Mwahhahaha! So now they know I think they are utterly ridiculous and I will be moving at the fist available opportunity.
Ok, so it'll make burger all difference, but at least I feel better! Forking eejits!
Sorry, rant over.Off to sort out that room now!

Ah well, sometimes you just feel better getting things off your chest! And you never know, they do sometimes follow up on these things: you might get an apologetic phone call asking what they can do to improve. In which case you can chew an ear off as well!

I'd like to say the bedroom is tidy now... but it's at that "now I have to keep going stage!
All the drawers and the wardrobe are sorted. There's a massive suitcase for the charity shop, a box full of rubbish for the dump and my wee suitcase of stuff I'll swap or £bay. There's still a lot of debris lying about and I haven't touched two biggish boxes or the stuff on top of the wardrobe yet.
How did I get so much stuff? And why do I need it?
Unfortunately, I used the bed as the place to gather the aforementioned debris. This was a deliberate ploy to make sure I did what I set out to do. But now I'm not liking that idea so much!
I need some decent storage boxes that I can put on top of the wardrobe. Vintage suitcases would be good - but without their price tag!
I need something for all the post grad stuff.
And I need a new pair of work shoes and "base layer" wardrobe essentials.
And I need to learn what my iron is for!
And that's me all set for the year ahead. :rotfl:Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Sounds like you have been very productive :T
I would turf what is currently on the bed on to the floor and then climb in :rotfl::j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

How long did it take?!!!
I got some storage boxes today from TKM4xx. A couple of cute, colourful boxes and a seagrass one. That should be enough to sort out the top of the wardrobe (where I keep thing like cards, letter and photos I don't quite want to throw out.)
I also got a pair of work shoes. Which are long overdue. Trust me, wearing wedges you bought in the second hand shop yonks ago is not the most sensible choice of footwear in this weather!
If only it had stopped there! But I also got my hair cut and coloured, topped up the car (well, ok, put a wee bit more fuel into it - topping it up is likely to be a thing of the past at these prices! I only get 11p per mile for work mileage too.) and eventually got a proper food shop!
Phew! That was some spending in one wee day! But at least it was all on the list!
And I also got to spend my DP crimbo voucher! So I got a new dress (that I can wear every day) and a long sleeved stripey top. The sales assistant was lovely! He processed and extra £5 voucher for me anyway after I noticed, out loud, that it was out-of-date. And reminded me I could use my student card too. So I've still £3.50 on the voucher when I thought I'd have to add £5 to the total of the voucher.Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

I think I'm coming down with something!
When I went for the food shop, I also took some stuff to the dump as it's en route. When I came home I put away the frozen stuff but then had to watch Dancing on Ice.
But got annoyed at the state of my kitchen! My flatmate always separates his yolk from his egg white (he never eats the yolk) and he gets it all over the work top, yet he NEVER wipes it up. What is that all about? Men!
So anyway, I gutted the kitchen, put away the foodshop, hoovered the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom floors (got the crumbs and dust, not quite got around to mopping them!), gutted the bathroom, including trying to deblock the drain, took more stuff down to the bins (not the dump) and loaded the car with more stuff for the dump and some of the stuff for the charity shop.
As I said, I think I must be ill! Just hung up the washing and impatiently waiting on the Dancing on Ice skate off to come up on ITV player!
Still to finish the bedroom and gut the living but not bad for one weekend I reckon!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55
