PS My flatmate still has the lurgy and it's really beginning to annoy the h*ll out of me!

He told me yesterday I might want to buy some antiseptic handwash to make sure I didn't catch it and I just wanted to scream at him to stay in his room and stop contaminating the rest of the flat with his horrible hacking cough and constant sneezing.

Thank God I've been working way to much to have been here! (Good job I'm not a nurse!!!)

Thank you Happy! Well done on shifting £4k! Especially since you were doing some redecorating this year too, weren't you? I hope your lurgy isn't knocking you out. Take care x

Look at me, here at this time in the morning! I'm never here in the morning before work! (Yes, I know most of you are groaning you are already at work! What can I say, I am not a morning person!!!)

Essay is emailed. (I thought it wiser not to email it in the silly hours of the morning when I eventually lost 400 odd words and tidied it up a bit. I think that in itself might be evident as I' not convinced it answers the question.)

But I'll deal woth that if and when I have to.

    Next deadline: 25th March 2011.

So I need you all to pretend it's the 5th March to spur me into action!!!

Have a fun day. I'm off to see if I can make it through work without falling asleep!

Mostly at work today I was on tea making duties! :D

At least we know I can always get a new career as a tea lady if I get fed up with the one I currently have. :D

Hugely freaked out by the amount of people that have referred to me as a lady!? I ain't no ladeeeeee! :p

    Hi Niccatw

(What does that mean by the way?) I watched the show last night on iplayer. I wondered if you were the Scottish girl - your accent jumped out at me as I'm from Airdrie! Well done for makring it down from Glasgow to make the tea! :A

Right, so now the important question, did you get a hug from Billy?? I think he's so sweet even though they make fun of him!

She did FAR more than just make tea :T:j:T

And I think we all got hugs from Billy :D

Nicca - Well done on getting the assignment in, don't forget tomorrow is the 6th March :rotfl:

I know that I usually post at silly o'clock in the morning (not as silly as SB though ) but I am not a morning person either. Just to prove the point I managed to wash my face with my glasses on this morning  Made me even later leaving the house as I had to clean them properly before I could see anything. Then I forgot the car key, came back in to the house to get them and left the lappie behind. The day really hasn't got much better :(

Hope you are managing to stay lurgie free :)

Thank you Marie! If I'd have checked my diary before Mike's thread I would have known you worked it out before I pm'ed you! :D

Niccatw doesn't mean anything, it's just an amalgamation of all my names. I had no idea when I signed up it'd be emblazoned to the left for all to see! But then, when I signed up it never crossed my mind I'd be trying to nonchalantly make tea with a producer firing questions at me and a camera crew in my face!!! :rotfl:

And I have to say I made it to Littlehampton with the help of Mike's Mob and it was my summer holiday! Couldn't have asked for a better one! :D

And yes, Billy just loves hugging people! :D But just ask Maty Moo about the kisses on her tee-shirt! ;)

The case study didn't pass. But I'm not in the slightest bit surprised. Work has been frantic but tomorrow I am going to phone the Prof. and just let him know a wee bit about my situation. Not because I want sympathy but becasue I don't want him to think I just don't care (or that I'm stupid!).

And to ask his advice on doing enough to just pass because if I spend any time over sorting it, I'll just be landing myself with the same problem for this module!

Which won't help me in my new year's resolution to spend more time with people who make me laugh!

My flatmate is clearly feeling much better, he is thumping and swearing at his laptop again!!!!!!! If only I had £1 for every time I have said I want my flat back to myself... my debt would be gone in no time!:rotfl:

I will say nothing about the dreaded lurgy, because it is everywhere and, when people get brave and voice their invincibility to the masses, the lurgy hears and the lurgy strikes!

(Besides, I don't think I've been back to work long enough to build my sick pay entitlement back up, so I'll need to fight it!)

:( Sorry about the case study. Hope the Prof can give you some good pointers for future use.

Somebody, somewhere has a photo of me getting a hug from Billy :D

Not good at linky things but hope this works on the lurgy :rotfl:

Don't be sorry about the case study. Entirely my own fault. If my procrastiantion skill weren't so tip top and if I hadn't prioritsed me, it might have been ok! :o

    Sleep tight! :D

But I always do my best work when under pressure and was hoping it would work for you :(

But there really isn't anything wrong with prioritising YOU when you need to :D
