I know the feeling Happy. I'm sooooo behind on a lot of diaries, never mind the challenges I'm on. One day I might catch up with myself :D.

It's been so clammy today, I feel icky and sticky! But it still looks really cloudy out so it's hard to tell what the weather might be doing!

Today was so close to being an NSD, then I spent 10p on parking at the doctors. Since I'd lost my NSD I decided to get a chippy for tea. Only something I do about twice a year so I suppose I can let myself off the hook. (Has any-one else noticed I seem to be letting myself off the hook a lot this month? ;))

    Morning nic,

I'm another one who is also very behind on diaries & has lots of spends to deny/declare ;).

Glad to see you're back at work & getting annoyed with peeps - that's a very good sign, that's when I knew I was getting over my depression, kept wanting to say to peeps '!!!!!! it's ME you're talking to'. Next step is coming to terms with quite how bonkers you must have been for everyone to treat you so delicately now !!! I'm a lot more sympathetic now to others with similar probs.

Anyway, it's a beautiful day, & my washing is ready to go outside ... assuming you did see Damon on Jonathon Ross show last night .... :D
    Have a great weekend hon
    xx
  • Ahhh finally some rest time :D.. hope everyones had a nice day xx x

And that's exactly how I feel!! Like no-one other than me n my doc reallt believe I'm much better!

Hope every-one has been out enjoying the sunshine today!

(PS, doing this from my phone! I seem to be very attached to it! :). Tho, shhhh, don't tell my phone but it's much easier on the laptop!

OK, doggy getting impatient, time for walkies :)

Second job is a carer for a guy with a physical disability. He gets PEG fed (vai a tube in his stomach, for those who have never worked in health ;)) so needs some-one at his over night just in case.

Basically I worke every other Fri & Sat night, start a 9pm and finish at 8am... but all I really need to do is hook him up to his PEG, feed the dog and take her for a walk, help him to bed and then unhook him in the morning. I don't need to do any personal care or anything and I get to bed about half midnight.

In between I can just watch whatever rubbish telly he's watching or read a carpy magazine or two. As second jobs go, it's pretty good and relaxing :D. He's very chilled and doesn't get worked up if you are being a bumbling idiot - he just finds it hilarious. Which is handy as I regularly can't hook up his feed without it leeking all over the place :o.

And doggy is a mad German Shepard who loves getting attention. But is a big scardey cat and barks at all the other dogs she sees. And people if she walks around a corner and wasn't expecting them to be there. I have her on a pretty tight lead or I probably would have lost an arm by now ;). Noe she knows I'm in charge and if she tries to pull me, I'll just yank her right back. :D

He was indedd Anonymoose. I watched him on demand last night. Apparently I also missed him on Jools Holland. Clearly I'm not as much of a fan as I thought ;).

Happy - I hope the night shifts pass quickly and are not too tedious!

Work should get better - my boss is now on annual leave for 2 weeks and will only be back a few days before I have a week off. If it's still bad after that, then I'll arrange another meeting with my 10 pages of A4 "this is how it needs to change" demands ;).

Luckily my AHP (allied health professional) lead is sensible so if every-one else is still acting mental, I can go to her and ask her to have a quiet word before I explode or implode :D

But, as Lula said, it does make me wonder just how I was acting before I went off sick! My boss did tell me she found me challenging but refused to elaborate which I thought was hugely unfair!

For now my plan is to let them do their thing and not get swept up into the petty squabbles! I'll let you know how that goes!!!

And today was NSD 10 - which means I've hit my target much more quickly than last month. However, I do think my spend days have been more spendy than last month so it's swings and roundabouts!!!
