Oh, is it a book Happy? Who's it by? Ooh, b*gger, you've just reminded me my library books are due back tomorrow! Must remember, must remember, must remember! I'll see if they have it in the library.
I am planning on wearing a t-shirt to Mike's with your name on itso I am in disguise and only you here on MSE will really know it's me! And if any-one sees me and knows me, they can't find me on here! (Don't really want my boss stumbling across my diary!!!)
Or, I could see how many times I could get the word "happy" into the conversation :rotfl:.
I haven't worked out the logistics but I think I'll probably drive as it gives me more freedom to take my time heading down and means I can get back up in time for my spa weekend.
It's all go. I don't really have time to be back at work! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It's really getting in the way of my days! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Been invited to my second wedding of the year, this time in September down in Derby. Just a couple more and I'll have beaten last year's record!

Oh, and did I forget to mention? Pregnant friend (henceforth to be referred to as mummy) had baby boy on Saturday morning, 04.15am. 8lb 4oz, delivered safely at home (as they had hoped), no drugs or anything (she took a reaction and couldn't). Joshua. Cat's are not happy! Especially little princess Kiera who is used to being adored on demand!
I won't get to see them for a while as they are bombarded with family folks and others, so I've just said to give me a buzz when they feel up to having more visitors.Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

How can your friend think you're mad?! He is gorgeous - my little claim to fame is that his grandparents used to live in my mums house, they are still on 'christmas card' terms with my grandad, haven't managed to meet him sadly - though I would just stand there like an eejit if I did! I can agree with the Jarvis thing though - there's something about a man who can move his hips like that ......
Hope you all have a good sunny day!x
oooh what a claim to fame to have
Nicca I had a splurge yesterday(£32.50 at Clinique counter, £14 undies in Debenhams, £14 dress + £3 lip gloss in George, £15 accessories in Dotty Ps, £1.75 nail varnish in Boots (No 7 voucher :j) )
No more spending for me for a while
Awwwww yay for (non) pregnant friend, Joshua is a lovely name
How's work going? xx

Feeling a little bit patronised by my boss and controlled by my colleaugue who is the next band up! I wanted to go to an autism develpoment day next week but they did that funny face thing (pitying look) and wondered, outloud, whether I was up to it or not! Upshot is I'm not allowed to go.
 (it's a development day. I just need to sit there and make my opinions known if I want to. And maybe get a free lunch out of it!)
Colleague who is next band up won't allow any queries to come my way unless they are run by her first and people keep being added to or disappearing from my caseload without me having any control over it.
And they don't want to go against occy health recommendations (which say 2 weeks of 3 days then back to full time) to what I want to do, which is 1 week of 3 days (this week) and 2 weeks of 4 days. But I've been stubborn, pretended I'd phoned occy health and pointed out it was my annual leave I was using so it was up to me.
If they don't calm down soon, I'm going to have to have words as this will drive me crazy! I think the problem is my sick line initially said anxiety rather than depression and they seemed to have latched on to me being worried about my job. When actually I just think my boss is a bit of a rubbish manager as she tries to be everybodies friend and doesn't make a decision unless she's so stressed she loses the plot.
And I don't know how depression works for most people, but literally one day I woke up and I knew I was back to my old self and that it was time to go back to work (obviously, if I could be bothered, I would look back through my diary and realise it was actually a slow progression and not just , boom, I'm better, but you know what I mean). I find it extremely frustrating to be treated as though I am still ill.
But at the moment I'm saying nowt and letting them get on with it. Dunno if it comes across as petulant though! And when my boss said I couldn't go to the development day, I think I actually did really say "whaever!" I know the feeling Happy. I'm sooooo behind on a lot of diaries, never mind the challenges I'm on. One day I might catch up with myself
.
It's been so clammy today, I feel icky and sticky! But it still looks really cloudy out so it's hard to tell what the weather might be doing!
Today was so close to being an NSD, then I spent 10p on parking at the doctors. Since I'd lost my NSD I decided to get a chippy for tea. Only something I do about twice a year so I suppose I can let myself off the hook. (Has any-one else noticed I seem to be letting myself off the hook a lot this month?)
