Hello, had a busy weekend. Though doing what, I'm not sure! Apart from spending money :o. I will catch up properly soon, I must go to bed now. I just advised Slowlyfading to keep to a night-time routine to help her sleeping pattern - I should probably try and practice what I preach ;).

Lemon Tree - thoroughly recommend deleting emails! If it's that important, it'll be sent to me again or I'll get a phone call asking me why I deleted the message without reading it :p. I feel much better for it; actually like I'm starting at the beginnig rather than being chucked into the melee and expected to keep afloat!

I haven't forgotten about the Mind Over Mood book either, just still making my way throught the Food and Mood one. Will let you know what I think of it as soon as I can.

Take care every-one and promise I'll be back soon to 'fess up on my spontaneous weekend spends :o.

Hi Kate, I find writing a diary really useful. Good luck xx

Thank you Anonymoose! He is lurverly! My friend thinks I'm mad, but then, what does she know? She thinks Jarvis Cocker is hot!

It's lovely to be met with so many messages, thanks guys! Katenut, definitely go for it! Anonymoose has a diary too. We're all at it ;).

Happy - I'm intrigued! Money magnet? Cheques? Millions? Are you delirious? What's going on? You weren't the winner on Saturday

And I have never seen The Secret, I will definitely investigate it! I'd ask what it's about, but I guess it's a secret :rotfl:.

How can your friend think you're mad?! He is gorgeous - my little claim to fame is that his grandparents used to live in my mums house, they are still on 'christmas card' terms with my grandad, haven't managed to meet him sadly - though I would just stand there like an eejit if I did! I can agree with the Jarvis thing though - there's something about a man who can move his hips like that ...... ;)

Hope you all have a good sunny day! :) x

I guess Jarvis is ok in a geeky kinda way :D. As long as they're brit pop icons, what do I care! Excellent claim to fame Katenut! Yup, I imagine meeting him would be one of those moments when, 3 hours later, you think "Argh! I should have said that! That would have been witty and cool!" But instead, at the time you are a bumbling wreck :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Right, time to confess those spends...

Thursday nights gig Lot's of tea! Including coming home with an English Breakfast tea tea caddy, Mint and Chili tea and Big Chill tea (yes - I'm a bit of a tea jenny! I have at least 10 types of tea in my tea cupboard :D). And my friend's bought me a "Make us a brew" mug for driving :D.

Friday Couple of bottles of beer in the pub before and after the Flight of the Conchords gig, which was a birthday pressie and absolutley hilarious and fab! :D

Saturday "oh look, over there, there's Damon Albarn and Jarvis Cocker..." Ok, while every-one's distracted, shhhhhh! Spotty slppers from M&S £6. Lovley! Memory foam so your feet just sink right in. Kinda needed but could have survived without them.... M&S lingerie, complete impulse buy! But gorgeous and will be worn £11. Wind and shower proof Dare2bare cycling jacket (not that I cycle). Again kinda needed but could have survived without it and really an impulse buy! £15. And the worst - £30 on Victoria Jackson make-up. I got completely sucked in by the salesman! It's enough make-up to last me the rest of my entire life! My friend also got sucked in so we are blaming each other! Got the survival kit, lip gloss kit, eye-make-up kit and bronzer stick thing. I

Also had an Indian for lunch and bought a random pinapple in the supermarket because it was only 50p.

Sunday terrified and guilty, I managed an NSD day :D

Monday almost made an NSD day but then the Betterware guy arrived with my bit of kitcheware nonsense (this time a big soap box thing for my bicarb of soda)

    Tuesday NSD :D

Which brings us to today... I am off (part of my phased return) and about to go and do a mystery shop. Probably a dangerous one for me as it involves a quote on a new bathroom and I want a new bathroom as much as I want a new kitchen :D At least I'm on track for knowing how much I need to save up though :p. And then off to get my hair back to a manageable style and cover up those greys! :D

Ooh! :j :j :j Just come off the phone to the BBC. DIY SOS called regarding Mike's thread. I feel sick with nerves and hugely excited too! I can only imagine what Mike must be feeling!!! :D
