    Welcome home

I hate to tell you this, but I think you'll find nobody will pay you to do that :D

Butti, Butti, Butti! Of course they will. I am fabulous at it! I just have to find the right man and the right boat! (Because no women will pay me, you are correct on that count. ;))

 Hello Ellidee. Very true! Hmmmm, perhaps I need a back up plan!

Lifeguard's tea-maker? I could sit high up in one of those look-outs, watching the sea and the sun-set and ocassionally making tea for the handsome lifeguard?

I'll need to gloss over the fact I'm not blond, don't have legs up to my shoulders or assets to fill a red swim suit quite like Pamela Anderson... but I'm sure I could make my CV phenomenal somehow. :rotfl:

So I called the other end of the country today to find out about their job. I have since been looking up estate agents and buying the advertised houses in my head! :rotfl: I haven't even filled in the application yet!

But I will. I diefinitely have the skills and yes, they are going through a major structural overhaul, but who isn't right now? I've nothing to lose by appliying (other than a few days unpaid leave as I won't have any holidays left for interview. Which is a pain as I'd go down for the week if I did! I wonder how much a week's unpaid leave will knock off my salary...).

I also have an interview for a job in Fife. But it's service management and I really don't have the experience they are looking for. Plus the interview panel look terrifying so I was contemplating calling up and pulling out anyway.

The other end of the country is much warmer than Fife.

It'd put VSO on hold, but VSO will be there when it's time...

(In my head, the job is already mine! :o Don't get ahead of yourself Nicca. Fill in the application form first women!!!)

Has any-one seen the "how much have we paid off this year" thread that usually is bouncing around this time of year?

I first posted my (second light bulb) SOA at the beginning of February 2010 so always re-calculate everything at the end of January and pop on over there. But I haven't seen it yet. Clearly just looking in the wrong place.

Thank you Ellidee. It'll turn up!

Here was Butti thinking she was queen of procrastination (no Butti, head down, get that dissertation done!) but she has forgotten there's some pretty fierce competition around here! (:hello: Hey Psycho  :rotfl:)
Must first get to right website... ;)
