    Hey 3Dogs, how lovely to see you! I've been pretty much keeping just to my diary so I haven't seen your face ina while. Only 10 days to go!!! Well done you! That is so exciting! How are you feeling? Here's to a fabulous 2012 for you and Mr3Dogs!

    I'm going to have to try something.

    Though the job advert I just spied down South is very tempting! ;)

    Hey Nic, I am so with you on the tiredness and the snooze button. I just feel so weary. I too need to get my diet sorted for that precise reason. I know that you say that the Dr will just think it is stress etc but maybe (and dont shoot me) she is right and you just dont want to admit it out loud but know exactly that is what it is. If you dont want to be there, then having to be there creates stress in itself. Keep on keeping on. You are moving closer to the VSO each day. If the lodger is getting you down that much then serve notice. A change is as good as a rest so there is nothing to stop you readvertising later if you need the money to move you towards your goal. Two jobs will also take their toll as well so I do think that the holiday to Portugal will do you the world of good.

    Thank you MrsMoo. I know you are right. On all counts. I have come to the conclusion I can't be annoyed at work and then annoyed at home, it just doesn't work! (Though must admit I have wondered if this is how it feels to be married ;):rotfl:) And annoyed is now too mild a word for it. :o

    Now I've decided I need to serve notice, my different sensible sides are slugging it out. It makes sense to serve notice, you can afford it. It makes sense to hold off for 6 months and put that money aside for VSO. It makes sense to serve notice, your going insane. It makes sense to breath deeply and stick with it for the last leg.

    I could go on running round in circles but that'll just make me dizzy and sick! So instead I will concentrate on what I need to pack for holibags. It doesn't feel real (but perhaps that's due to today's weather! Until I see what Saturday's weather brings, I won't quite trust it's going to happen).

    I'm playing on my Kindle just now. Trying to download music onto it. I haven't ordered euros yet. Priotities Nicca! :o

    Oh, and I had stir fry for tea. Lots of green veggies (and flax + brazil nuts). Felt so much better for it. Wish I'd had a ton of the juciest fruits too. And I can't say I even really overdid it over the festive period either. Though there may have been a tad more jaffa cakes consumed than is usual thanks to a yard of them from my conference buddies :rotfl:

    It makes sense to;
    • pack your bags
    • go on holiday
    • Think about serving notice when you come back

    For this week just pack your bags and breathe!

  • Agree with Butti... just have to add, sometimes your health and happiness is a priority over everything else. It may mean our goals are slightly further away BUT what is the point in reaching them if we are too depressed or fed up to enjoy reaching it? Hope you figure something out xx

    I found my calling on life on my holibags. It is to sit on the top of a boat and look out to the horizon, watching the sunset!

    You don't even notice there is any-one else on the boat!

    And this from a girl who is in awe of the sea and just a little bit terrifed of being out of her depth in water and just a little bit phobic of fish! :D (ok, ok, so make those little bits lots!)

    Heading out for a friend's birthday tonight - no rest for the wicked! I'll get around to sorting out some piccies soon. :D

    I hope you are all well and didn't miss me too much! ;)
