I find it odious that Constantine donates to Plane Stupid, yet jets around the world to his Lush stores - I have money and/or power so do as I say and not as I do.

How come? Nothing wrong with air travel per se, is there - it's just the unrestricted expansion and aggressive lobbying to these ends that those in the industry tend to employ, IMO.

Would you have air travel banned completely?

There's certainly a sensible middle ground - and travelling by air yet advocating sensible transport policy and encouraging a responsible aviation sector is not necessarily as hypocritical as you might think.

    "Odious"? Really?

Tea tree oil usage in cosmetic products is restricted to 1%.

Natural products will cost more because the ingredients are often hard to extract and things like bad harvests will affect the price. Synthetic products however are easy to make in large quantities, so will be cheaper to produce.

I was talking to my doctor and he told me that most products that say they have tea tree doesn't. Even a drop, you can smell strongly.

Malaleuca Alternifolia will be on the ingredients list if it is in the product. All ingredients must be listed on cosmetic products, written in INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients).

I sent Lush a few emails over this and his PA ended ignoring me rather than replying.

My boyfriend goes to Lush once a year to get me a box for Christmas (the one with Snow Fairy in it) and he gets scared because all the girls flirt with him to try and make him buy more! I told him it his fault for being so good-looking ;)

Just the girls? Can't be as good looking as me then ;)

  • I have to agree that the stench of lush products has put me off completely( I made the mistake and ordered from them on-line a coupleof years ago when I received the packaged all the items were in pieces as they dont believe in using plastic packaging and the fact that they used popcorn to protect the items(um which didnt work) the vulgar smell of popcorn and sickly sweet soap was revolting, Not for me thank you! Natural or not!

  • i love lush stuff especially the massage bars, yes they do put in some well known irritants which people complain about, i buy as they work for me and thankfully i must have tolerant skin.

Unless I'm mistaken, vikingaero (clue in last four letters of user name) is against plane stupid and not against air travel.

    Apologies if I'm wrong.

The only Lush product I have any trouble with is the Jingle Spells bath bomb. The little silver stars are like miniature shuriken and you realy don't want one near your arris.
