you and my other pregnant mate! :rotfl:
if yoru happy about the girlie issues then I am too...if you see what I mean?!??!! would have thought a little gentle bouncine would have cheered you up when you felt poop, just get back on that trampoline girl!
as for six legs it didn't specifically say six but on the pic i could see three with the bottoms of two more at the sides and presumably can't see the sixth due to the actual trampoline so best guess and all that.
good news! quidco is tracked AND validated and due to pay out on hogmany presumably (end dec?!?!) perfect time to have £120 in your pocket!
catch up with you all later, it's chinese and wine night to celebrate the sixth anniversary of getting my first flat. I'll tell you all about it later xx0 -

hello gorgeous!
I know the feeling, I was on here every day while the site was down trying to get on and then once it got back up I was too busy!!!
Hmmmmm whats new with me... well I got my trampoline on saturday and went on it that avo for 20 mins and did the same monday but i've been so busy it's been hard to find time since. Will get stuck in tomo, these xmas parties are starting tonight!!!
Have decided to get finger out and sort out money spending, been really bad still so am leaving my wallet at home and hoping to avoid spending mon-thurs at the very least. That'll help the diet too as it seems to be mostly junk from the canteen I keep buying!
Mum's party update, am going to Dundee next sat and am hoping I can arrange to view the venue of choice, the guy is supposed to be emailing me price lists and buffet choices (might work out easier in the end to let them sort it). Am trying to get a driving instructor sorted so I can get my license by xmas-ish so that I can be driving by then which will be a big help with the plans!
Spent last night hauling out my xmas pressies I have so far to judge what I still need, am a bit further on that I thought and will be getting more tomo. My plan is to have it finished either before or on the weekend I go to Glasgow at the end of November. Then the first weekend in December will be spent decorating the house, wrapping and writing cards, tho I've got a fancy dress night out on the Sat. But this means I can enjoy all the fancy goings on in December with little grief.
erm...oh my aunt called last night and I'm now going to see 50 cent on wed... got no idea what a girl wears to a concert like that but at the mo I'm thinking black shorts, glittery tights and pumps (comfy feet!). Will see.
Oh found out I have a very big party mid Jan. My work hire out a very large venue and put on a big show. This year the theme is 'ice and diamonds' so my birthday gift is gonna work in well. Just need to find a VERY nice dress to wear.....another one!
right I better go, got not much work to do but since I've only been permenant for one day I don't wanna get sacked yet!
kisses x0 -
hello miss Party Animal!!
Hope you have a fab time tonight - although surely 2nd november is just a bit too early for Christmas parties.......
ok, maybe not!
Have fun x

Hi hypno,
you got your little skiers back yet? hope they had/are having a fabulous time!
It's not technically an xmas party it's more a case of I have things on every week until xmas now, some weeks more than one thing, no idea how i'll afford it all on one weeks wages but hey!
forgot to mention earlier I went permenant at work yesterday so I'll get a weeks wages today, three days next week and thats me until the end of the month! On top of that I'll have to sort out mum's party and xmas pressies so it'll be tight but i'll have you lot to encourage me!
hope the fund raising is going well xx0 -
Hey babe! Congratulations on the job/going permanent
:T
Wow - sounds like you have lots of fun things on the agenda. Brill!
So what did you think of the trampoline? Good fun for you?
50 Cent. Gotta say not my cup of tea but hey it's a night out and if you like him then you're going to have a top night. I haven't been to a live gig for a year now
but we're off to see some comedy (Bill Bailey) in a couple of weeks :j (fiancé paid for ticket
) so I am looking forward to that.
So - the outfit for 50 cent sounds pretty good - you'll have to let us know if that's what you went for....I would have NO CLUE what to wear I have to say, so, I'd be really interested to read what every one was wearing. I'm guessing not much!
Christmas.....OMG....so many people are getting so organised. My brain just shuts down every time I try and think about it!
You are working hard on getting the party organised for your Mum & Step Dad....hope you can get passed your test in time to help out.
Really hope you've had a good time at party and the rest of the weekend has been fab. Just out of interest....is firework night a big thing in Scotland? I know it isn't in Ireland (for obvious reasons!) but I wondered if it is not much of a deal in Scotland either. (If any Welsh people are reading then I would be interested if it is a big deal in Wales too).
Just being curious really. We've been out tonight looking at fireworks - I really love them.
Anyway, as I say, hope you had a great night!

hello my love, hope your having a good weekend!!!
the trampoline isn't quite as much fun as I'd thought, the joy wore thin kinda quick which is disappointing. I'm going to try adn keep at it but we'll see....
50 cent isn't really my kinda thing, I like a few of his songs but it's more that the ticket is going begging and like you it's been years since I went to a gig. (oooh bill bailey think my friend likes him, enjoy!) I'll tell you all about it on thursday.
Got a few more xmas pressies yesterday and then took mu out to a mexican for dinner and I ate SWORDFISH!!! never tried that before, was quite yummy.
As for mum's party I've had a few more ideas. Am in Glasgow in a few weeks and gonna go to ikea. There is a clear vase for 79p and I'm gonna buy ten of them and put single stem lilly's in them as they are the flower for the 20th anniversary. The colour is by all accounts emerald so I'll get paper tablecloths (hopefully cheap after xmas) in that colour to decorate the place. As the material for the anniversary is china I had had an idea of doing a chinese style buffet (and wearing my black velvet chinese dress) to tie in with it....will see how that goes.
Friday night was good, only bought two drinks so spent £5. Everyone kept offering to uy me drinks and I had to keep explaining that if I wanted one I'd buy one it was just that I has having fun without. But it was a fun night, though my feet were killing me by the time I got home. My other friend seemed to be okish about me missing her bday, though i'm not surprised if she were mad.
As for bonfire/fireworks night, yeah I think it is a big deal here but the spirit and reason behind it is a little lost. In Aberdeen the council put on a big dispaly at the beach front, if the weather is nice from a boat. They are spectacular, I've been going down for about 5 years now. Only thing I don't like is that there is no bonfire which is really the point of it. When I was a kid in Dundee all the different areas had their own displays. We went to one at the park beside us and there was a big fire in the tennis court. You could see the different fireworks going off in different areas too. was ace.
Today I'm starting to get the flat cleared up, I have so much crap everywhere it'd be nice to have a clear tidy house for xmas. It's needs better organisation too so I'm starting on the bedroom tonight and continueing thie week, then onto the next one next week and so on. There is a charity shop just beside the next bus stop at work so I'll walk to that one and get rid of it.
anyway i won't get it done if i don't get my finger out so i'll catch up later. I do have an idea on making a little extra cash over xmas os i'll see how that comes on before i announce it.
big hugs to all

oooooh forgot to say, erm yesterday I kinda went to markies, got fitted up for the most unsexy bras ever but ones that hole everything in right for a change and......................giant tummy holding in pants!!!!!!!!!! It's like bridget jones except noone will EVER see these! I'd actually die if they did lol but the plan is that they make me look amazing with my clothes ON!0

Oh I love all the plans you have for the party - all very very good! :T
Oooh Trinny & Susannah always go on about great foundation underwear and I have to agree - it's *so* important and yes....whilst the knickers are slightly passion killing....you'll look fantastic!
Oh shame about the trampoline. Do you bounce to music...? I do...I find that it's a lot more fun that way with some great dance tunes. I hope you can get some more use out of it....but you know you can always sell it on if you do get terminally bored with it.
Yes the reason behind firework night is lost here now too - every one just likes to go out to firework parties & displays and who can blame them? The
one you describe in Aberdeen sounds great!
Oooh good luck with whatever your money saving scheme is! Intriguing.....
£5 on a Friday night? That's great! I spent about £26 on Friday night which included a taxi home (£10) so £16 on drinks.....I was very drunk but I remember everything and it was a cracking night out. But God I was hungover yesterday - it reminded me just why I hardly drink these days!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

now who's living through who???
haha glad you had a good night.
well I've been really good today, my bedroom looks great, all the cupboards are tidy. Two bags of rubbish got chucked and I've a pile in the hall for the charity shops. I'll take it down gradually each day this week in managable bundles.
My living room looks a total mess as all my sewing stuff is piled in here now. It took up too much space inteh wardrobe and I've done no sewing for ages and ages. Maybe this will encourage me a little. there are things I've been planning in my brain literally for years adn never done. Worst case it'll all have to be dealt with in a few weeks when it comes time to clear out this room. The hall and bathroom is next week, the ktichen the week after and living room last cause I dread it the most!
I also did a meal plan and a food shop, there were a few non planned things in there but they were pretty much all multi buys of what I was needing so it'll do next week.0
