They do exist - you just have to look in the right places for them. You also have to think of whether you are looking for the right thing. Looks can be deceiving.
The other side of that coin is whether you'd be "a catch" for such a guy. Only you can decide that.
Good luck...

Sorry - had to laugh out loud at Wok Boys picture! :rotfl:
Haven't seen those Scousers for ages....
Anyway, blokes like that do exist, but they aren't plentiful. Or, (sorry to be a bit coarse) usually have to just get a lot of sh*gging out of the way first.
Out of interest I have to say I have observed that a fair few blokes who have the qualities we want (that you describe LJ) are often not blessed with film star looks. So it's easy - if he looks like he should be in a Gillette advert...proceed with caution.

Hi wok boy, welcome to the rollercoaster! Have no idea who that is in your photo, though LA seems to. Wonder if it's a regional thing???
LA, I think thats gonna be my problem, finding someone good looking and nice. I've done the nice guy/not great looking thing a couple of times and it doesn't work. I'm too vain and I happily admit it. My ex was a builder and wore the same work clothes the rest of the time. I had to force him into a shirt for xmas dinner! Not to mention my sister likening him to Roy Cropper from coronation street due to his constant jumper wear. I make a lot of effort to look good, I've learned through the years what styles of clothes best suit and what styles of make up flatter and I want a man who makes an effort too.
As for what I haev to offer a man...I'm pretty (dont mean to sound full of myself but I know I'm not a boot! :rotfl: ) I can cook well, can keep a house and all the 'traditional' woman things. But at the same time I can handle my money and that side of running a house, I can do all types of diy (am in the middle of decorating my hall today!), I can handle technology, hold down a good job....in fact remind me why I need a man???
Maybe thats the problem, I'm too independent and men can't handle not being needed as much as wanted????? :rolleyes:0 -
The Scousers were on the Harry Enfield programme back in the Nineties and were funny. Well I thought so. They all used to have curly wigs (do you remember Terry off of Brookside with his curly perm? It was a rip off of him, if you do) and they used to always end up arguing and then one of them would step in going "Caaaalm down, caaalm down!"
OK maybe you had to be there.....:D
Men: Yeah - why do you need a man? :rotfl:
Can't really say much except a person does need to know their worth (and you do - and that's good) otherwise they end up being treated like a doormat.
I do think (in my own experience) that some guys get put off by a lady who is strong & capable. I guess they get confused about their own 'role' in the relationship.
You'll eventually hook up with a bloke who will either let you get on with everything and say "Yep fine - I'll be off playing football" (or whatever) or will do everything first and let you do something else and you'll be a great partnership - probably ending up doing up houses & selling them on or something!
Don't write anything off yet - it's just finding someone who is right rather than 'settling' for any old thing which unfortunately a lot of people do.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
