Sorry to read you are feeling pants LJ. As my friend and I always say to each other...all our slices of life's 'pie' are never equal all of the time.
When they do all seem to come together you have to cherish those days.
Well now - lenny has said he will come out with you, there's an offer you can't refuse! So that's one problem sorted.......
As for the dress...well if you think it will cause anguish, don't wear it. Don't let it spoil any free time you have to enjoy yourself hon. That'd be my advice.
I hope college time went quickly......it will soon be over. Teaching I am sure would be different...you'd be in charge and you could/would make it fresher & more fun to learn I'm sure.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

cheers la. I think I need to get my head out my !!!!! and get over myself, I'm only feeling sorry for me and thats not going to get me anywhere. I've been getting scary with the ocd thing this past week, I'm talking daily checklist to make sure I've brushed my teeth twice a day, moisturised etcetc. ok it's fair enough to make the odd list but I seem to constantly live on them so I ripped them all up just now, I will no longer make lists but deal with each thing as it arises.
as for the dress I'm being daft. I loved that dress months before I knew dj existed and I loved being in that dress before he arrived and damn it I'll love myself in it after! If I allow myself to not wear it again because of him it shows that he's won, he's beaten me because I can't capture that feeling of how beautiful i felt wearing it. He did not make me feel that, my feeling that attracted him....this time I will be better prepared (not to mention less likely to meet another dj in forfar....yucksville!)0 -

Good on ya! Sounds like you have the right attitude, it's be a shame to tarnish what sounds like a lovely dress (;)) with a bad experience. And good on ya for having a go at kicking the OCDs - my OH has a bit of a problem in that department, she burnt her tongue on her hair straighteners the other week cos she can't leave the house without licking them to make sure they're off  Trouble was she was running a bit late and changed her routine to compensate, so they weren't as cool as they normally are when she licks them  :laugh:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW Nerd #4910
