Hey Lyns, just wanted to say good luck with the last ditch studying and exams and stuff. Once they are out of the way you may find your energy levels lift a bit.

well done to liverpool you must be pleased!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah! don't think my neighbours were with me yelling at the tv at that time of night
spent the whole time trying to convince mcbirnie to write a sign saying i love lj and get it on tv :rotfl: in fact i've not heard from him since he told me girls know nothing about football (i informed him the freexe frame showed the second goal was offside)...think he's probably still drunk somewhere in scouseland!
but now he has to take me to athens for the final :j only problem is I used to be a big man utd fan when I was a kid...liverpool is only for mcbirnies benefit...what's a girl to do???0 -
Hey Lyns, hope all is well???
Sorry I didn't get back to you last week, was meant to and then forgot. Off again this Friday if your not working...???
As for our tiredness, I reckon if will most definately be the stress you are under, everything is building up and happenning at the same time, but you'll be okay, as you say, certain big things will be out of the way soon and that will rest easy in your mind, you'll get a couple of good nights sleep and be right as rain again. Look on the bright side... you could be blessed/cursed with my sleeping pattern
Call you soon doll.
yeah I'm working friday until ten and with my exams so soon i'm probably going to be studying all weekend and not drinkingbut the friday after I will be straight to a pub at lunchtime for a few apres exams beverages if your not working then????

well guys today I crossed over one hurdle, I signed my final forms for the remortgage, the solicitor expects to have the funds by the end of the week and a check for the released equity will be in my bank around the same time. such a relief walking out that building, felt like a weight off.
if all goes as plan I'll allow a week for the cheque to clear, a week for the credit card payments to clear then boom there'll be a big dfw party for my debt free announcement, by that time I'll be exam free too so I'll no doubt have a real life party too!!!
was so happy I went into primark and spent £8 on three tops, from the money my aunt gave me, the last stuff I bought got taken back so I still have £45 sitting there. now back to the grindstone!
edited to add, holy batpants! just called up the docs and the soonest available appt is friday the 11th! the day of my exam no less, so thats getting put off, if I don't pick up after that I'll phone back.0 -

feeling a little down today guys. I have £60 left in my going out fund (not touched this month) and only two weekends left till next payday, I have a gorgeous dress I got with gifted monies in the half price sale at jane norman, I have an excuse to go out (my exam on friday) and yet I'm struggling to find a single soul to say yes
how sad is that? Not sure but I think I feel worse than if I had a hundred offers and no money. Having no money I can deal with, having no friends makes me feel like crying. One friend said she had a sitter for the week after so I guess it'll have to wait till then....and my excuse will have to be that it's a weekend
Having more problems with the remortgage, the new mortgage provider still has some random solicitor details on their system despite my telling them TWICE who my solicitor is and having never heard of the others let alone dealt with them! so again the release of funds is held up
on top of that I have to go to college tonight and that thought makes me sadder than the rest. I so hate that place, that tutor, that subject, everything about it! I really can't wait until I don't have to go back again. It has actually put me off the idea of teaching, if this is the kinda crap I have to go through to get there it's not worth it!
Oh did just get through to the docs, got an appt for next wed....it'd be easier to get into fort knocks!
since I'm wingeing on I might as well finish pouring my heart out. I have a hen night in a couple of weeks, a friend I went to primary school with, the theme is 20's starlets. I'm really looking forward to it, being a star myself it's right up my street, literally too, it's about ten mins drive from my mum's house so I don't need to worry about transport/places to stay...and I have the perfect dress, the red one I wore at xmas...one or two of you know what happened to me the last (and first) time I wore that dress and the associations it has for me, not to mention the tragedy that ended in. I'm really trying to get over it, in fact very few people actually know what happened, but I don't know if I'm strong enough to wear it and not have my heart break. If I don't I have no idea what I'll wear!!! I wish for once that life would give me a break, just a little one, from feeling so pants. Think I'm gonna see if my sis fancies a couple of days away again, apart from the disasterous ending that day/night in york was the best fun I've had in ages.
It's amazing how one part of your life comes together and the others all fall apart eh? there's me financially more stable than ever with the prospect of days left till I clear my debt and I'm as miserable as I ever was.0
