I need two A3 sized special delivery bags, anyone know the best way to get them now? Is it worth asking in the PO?0

I have found some of these bags. Are they still alright to use or do you have to be a business?
I am in business but not for sending stuff.
Thanks.0 -

Yes you can still use these bags as long as you are using them for the correct purpose.
It is very easy to spot if they have been turned inside out as the seal is on the inside not the outside.
You will also need to attatch stamps or get the PO to use their sticker as payment.

You can still use them for Ebay
My dad's business went under in September and he had quite a handful of them left over.
I have turned them inside out and took them to the post office and paid postage for ebay goods (not special delivery just normal post).
Nothing was said to me, I paid postage and the buyer received the item. BTW, I DON'T charge the buyer for packing, just postage and a 20p fuel cost.
At the end of the day its RM fault for sending out the bags willy nilly. They should have made sure they were sending the bags out to businesses!
Also some post offices still hand out Special Delivery bags if you ask for them, without posting it there and then. You could easily take it home and turn it inside out and reuse.
Maybe RM ought to put a notice on the inside of the envelope to stop this then?0 -

Maybe they should, or maybe people should be honest. This is why RM have stopped giving these bags to all and saundry, and still people moan.
They is a public outcry at the moment because the cost of postage is going up, could this be the reason why?
