I know I am. He's actually fabulous. The real deal, the one all women really should get....but he's mine :D:o. If I could clone him I' be very rich, and their would be much, much happier women in the world. TBH, I cannot believe my luck. (and about its a lot more than the massages!)

Are you married to my OH??
How lovely :) I love hearing women who are happy, the world seems to be full of miserable ones (I know I was one before I dumped the ex and met my wonderful OH)
Adores me, is fantastic to my kid and loves his mum ;) (always a good sign :))

Oh... you are both so lucky to be able to say that. I am sometimes not sure if my OH is the one for me, sorry TMI!

I have to admit to a purchase as well. I bought the Soap+Glory perfume. I paid with a voucher so no cash spent and with 1/3 off I just couldn't resist. Now I have a skinnie voucher which I will most likely use because those vouchers feel like gift vouchers. And I want to go to Aldi for cosmetics and ginger shampoo....

I absolutely 100% need this shampoo and the entire skincare range :D Handily I don't have an Aldi close by :rotfl:
thanks for the book offers girlies - RISI has come through with the goods this afternoon... YAY :T:j
    QUOTE]

Ooooh, hope you enjoy it! I always get rubbish swaps on RISI!

Lin.c, you have such gorgeous things! Hope you have a lovely time using them up!

Finished off a Lush Karma solid shampoo today, might buy it again but only for going away and that won't be for a long time as I have an Ultimate Shine one for that.

OH bought me the new Love etc perfume from the Body Shop online today bless him, it comes with a free body butter  and he says he's ordered me a surprise too so he could get maximum discount, exciting :j

To add to having an ear infection, I now have an eye infection . Just wondering if anyone can help me work out a way of taking my mascara off without making it worse???!

Was given a big bin bag full of towels today :rotfl:. Never say no! Managed to get rid of them to a customer though so didn't have to take them home and hoard them :rotfl:

Today I used up or gave away:

    - Neals Yard orange flower cleanser to sis (unopened). I had 2 and it really didnt agree with my skin. So WIBA, no.
    - Avon perfume Reese Witherspoon to sis (unopened). I have another Avon one so this has got to go. Plus I have my Liz Earle one for my valentines pressie. So cannot comment on WIBA. Avon perfumes especially EDP are good value for money tho.

Now I did buy today! And you only have yourselves to blame! Especially you Queenof no matter what! I was driving past Waitrose and.... yep bought the Cinnamon essentials bath creme. It smells really nice. I bought it to refill a large hand pump wash for downstairs by the sink. Problem is they had them on offer to get 2 for £1.50! So I bought a blue sea kelp one too. Mmm, not great then really. The first one I could get away with but the second is stash now.

Although I did pick up a Neutrogena facial wash (cos it was a third off) and I like this. And thought no, I have another Neutrogena different formulation that I am not enjoying, sp no I must use this up first. And I put it down. Woo-hoo! So all was not lost.

Think I may be transferring my love of body creams to bubble bath now! My name is mineallmine and I'm a bubblebathalholic...

    Work out why!

....I'm among the luckiest woman in the world, and even I acknowledge relationships need work, sometime so little i seems effortless, some times so much you have count to ten, ten times over. Sometimes the work feels...artificial. e.g. when DH and I started living a part...we were a very couply couple, we had to work out strategies. e.g. we try to be the last to speak to each other nd the first each day..this is natural living together..if one wakes for something in the night, so does the other....but if DH is working late and he thinks I;m a sleep.should he call me? I'd wake usually when he got into bed with me if we lived together, and I have ad an emergency night time vet trip recently without calling him, and gone to the hospital. Learning how to negotiate silly little things is not natural at first.

I will never come to terms with men balling up their BLACK socks and leaving them IN there underwear to destroy white/light washes.;)

No, no, no!!!!! I didn't need to know how nice it smells! I want it so bad!

Well done on putting the Neutrogena down though :T

  • :) we are lucky aren't we? I think men get a pretty raw deal really, they don't know whether we want to be loved and protected or supported and respected....as confused as lots of omen are really, about what we want ...:(.

I think there should be more praise for great OH's/partners. :)

I agree :T My OH is just brill. Gawd I love him to bits and he's so funny lol.

I've not used anything up and I haven't bought anything. My Boots order will be here tomorrow though and the money hasn't gone from my bank yet so technically it's not bought... yet :o

My Chanel No5 fund is going slowly because now I'm saving for a new bike jacket :p Hopefully I'll get the money saved before the price goes back up, but I very much doubt it. At least it'll stop me buying toiletries for a while :T

It's hard reading what products you all like, it just makes me want to try them and I'm desperatley resisting the urge to spend. I do need a whole set of new makeup brushes because the ones I have are ancient. I've looked on ebay but the good ones are way out of my price range. I'm nearly tempted to buy a cheap set, which has to be a million times better than what I'm using atm

Still haven't painted my nails, I bit them all off instead. It was less hassle :o
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.
  • Sorry thevicster but at least at 75p (with the special offer) that's a much better habit than some of the other brands!

I used up the tesco shower gel this evening. DH used it in his bath, I used it in mine, washed both kidlets with it and then cleaned the bathroom with it. I've washed out the bottle and just waiting for the suds to drain. WIBA? No, never would have bought it in the first place. MiL bought us a carrier bag full of them about 18 months ago because they were about 10p per bottle. There's a reason they were that cheap! Actually wasn't that awful but it didn't smell pretty!
Flung another disposable razor tonight, it's blunt now. Shall use up the last 2 on my legs before starting on the new fusions I bought. I also have a powder puff (not sure if bought for me or DD, had it aaaaaages and it was a gift). I decanted some talc into the base of the tub and am able to use it under my pits when I get out of the bath. I'm trying to be inventive now because the doves getting low. I can get a bit sweaty in the evenings (dunno why cause its blimmin freezing!) but this seems to be absorbing it tonight. If it doesn't work then I'll have to replace the dove before I've managed to use up the body sprays. Lets hope that I get on ok- I can't be getting whiffy when I work in such close proximity to people. Often Drs & I have to get so close to each other that you can smell everything, not nice if anyone's whiffy. I know it happens and I know that we do get really hot and this brings fragrances off even higher- I'm very often aware that I'm so hot I can smell my dove (Ooh that could almost be a bit rude couldn't it!).

Quick question, do you guys put your night cream on when you get out of the bath or when you go to bed? I'm currently sitting here all tight and shiny having got out the bath 2 hours ago. Anyhoo, off to bed and to cream.

Ah, another random Kaz fact: The colder I am, the more I sweat. Probably cause I keep my arms clamped by my sides to try and conserve heat!!!!

  • Hey Melonade, there's an offer with Prima (I think) this month to get some make-up brushes - you just pay P&P. They're gonna be cheap but maybe tide you over? Will try and find a link.
