    Welcome.

the wibas are useful, aren't they. The problem I have is there is always something new to try as well...which seems more exciting than the old product, or the great old products get discontinued (I'll never recover fro the discontinuation of John Freida Kelp help)

I loved the JF Kelp help too, still not found anything quite so good, although I am trying
8 months to go till end of the IVA :j:rotfl::T

Love the Elemis Frangipani Monoi Melt oil, it was my Sunday night ritual, although it can be a bit of a faff it does smell beautiful.

Valm are you liking the Jergens and would you buy it again, I have often seen it on offer, also I believe organic & wondered if it was any good?

On top of all this though I have passed my awful hoarding habits onto my daughter (who is only 11) who opens a lotion and leaves it for months on end. Last time Ilooked she had a small tub of S&G Righteous butter, 2 x small bottles of Bath and Body Works body lotions (Christmas fragrances), a 200g tub of TBS Vanilla body butter (inherited from me as I didn't like the smell) and a Philosophy Snow body lotion.

I dont know if I've passed on my bad habits, or if its a case that they get so much these days? I went mad on Saturday as I couldnt see DD's carpet (she is 16). I scooped everything into bin bags and stuck them in a cupboard out of sight. There were about 10, I think. The amount of toiletries she has is a complete disgrace. I am going to stop of at Tesco on the way home to get some plastic chest of drawers to keep in the bathroom just for her stuff!

That sounds beautiful, I'd love it. How much was it?:o

DH and I do massage each other three times a week (Fri/sat/ sun). TBH I'm really lucky as he massages me much more than I him. :o

You're lucky MrM gets bored when massaging me!

I got an email from timetospa today with an offer of a free bottle of Monoi melt with any order - quote MONOI when checking out. It says the bottle is worth £10.00. Not that I'm encouraging anybody to buy any more toiletries considering where I am posting!! x:)

I don't think I would to be honest as it doesn't have any staying power. Much prefer body butters. My all time favourite cream though is LE Nourishing Body Cream. That stuff keeps me moisturised all day. Unfortunately don't have any in the stash at the mo. x

Thanks Valm , I am a lover of her body cream it smells devine although at £15.50 a tube it does not last me long using it twice a day.

What age is your DS1? None of the boys at my school ever used aftershave!!! Or am I getting old, do all the kids wear it nowadays?

    QUOTE]

I work with teenagers, and yes, the boys generally do wear aftershave. Sometimes they also wear a heavy body spray & play football energetically all lunchtime, then sit in a stuffy classroom (warped window frames which don't open) next to the radiator (centrally controlled so if it's too hot, hard luck) and the result is .... especially when blended with the girls' perfumes etc
    Mostly, thank goodness, it's fine.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

Let me know what you've tried and what works. FWiw the best lternative I've found is the L'real stuff in little yellow tubes you leave on for only three mins, but actually I prefer often to have something I can leave in for a while...
  • A couple of people on here have mentioned Rosacea (spelling?). I'm wondering if that's what I've got.

My face has started to go bright red and blotchy looking in cold weather, hot rooms, and when I drink alchohol. It's only happened recently so I haven't done anything about it.

I use clinique on my face and have bought some of their redness solution moisturiser to try, but can't see much difference. What do other people use to cleanse, tone and moisturise, and does it help with redness?

    Thanks.:)
