QoNMW, you need to be going on ebay to list your other stuff rather than looking at Taras! I'm sure you said you were going to be listing clothes and boots?
I think I've found who you are on ebay, I was browsing as I'd never seen the hat box. I always look at peoples other items too and you mentioned some other things you'd listed so I reckon you're sportybabe????? (Not exact user name btw!)
Vitamins, you all remind me now that I need to go and take mine. I'm terrible at taking them. Luckily my life doesn't depend on it!
Today I think I shall amalgamate my hand soaps so I can hopefully get rid of a bottle. I'm sure I have thousands of these left too. I've stopped looking for stuff now! I was very liberal with the cleaning products yesterday in the kitchen.
I also aim to get the fairly unpleasant shower gel gone by cleaning the bathroom with it. I want to use something more exciting but sadly the next thing on my hit list is a can of power rangers bath foam.
I may have another little squiz at my stash and see what the inventory is like.
I'm coming to the end of my Elizabeth arden 8 hour lip thing. I thought that I would be replacing this for sure as I'd managed to find it for £5.99 and it's fab. However, I found some old lipsil the other day that I'd obviously bought in a multi pack because there are at least 2 of this type around. It's not an expensive one because the kids have got it too but it's fab. I had mine in my dressing gown pocket and it melted on the radiator. It's set again and is still useable. DS has used his before when it's been through the wash, it's quite robust!
It's made of beeswax and I need to try and figure out where I bought it from!!!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
The book challenge now exists: all you have to do is read all the books you bought and never quite got round to reading. You can do what you like with them afterwards, depending on what you think of them.

Morning ladies
Thanks IlonaRN I will ring Boots Ho this morning.
I too stockpile toilet rolls I have 10 packs of 12 in the loft
Under the stairs I have 4 x 80 wash boxes of Daz in my defense it must have been a stonking offer for me to buy it :rotfl:
When DD moved to Gloucester she did not need to buy any cleaning products, washing powder, fabric softener or toilet rolls as I had loads in my stockpile.
Even dry/pantry food I stockpile I have inherited this from my mum, although my parents did not have a lot of money when I was growing up we always had good food and plenty of it.
I am streamlining and have not bought any cleaning products for about 6 months.0 -

I used to work with somone with really bad body odour. Thing is that she must have known about it because she was forever spraying perfume on top of it which didn't hide it but enhanced it. Myself and a colleague were going to approach her about it but then WE got hauled into the office and told that it could be construed as bullying if we did. I told HR that they needed to say something then as I was forever taking paracetamol because the smell gave me a headache. What was the result of this do you think? I was moved to another desk. OK it worked for me but did not address the problem. Then one day this girl complained to me that her legs were cold as her boyfriend had dared to wash her tights which she had planned on re-wearing.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

 So who was put in the desk you were forced to vacate? And why didn't a manager get her in to have a 'quiet' word about it? Disgusting, in more ways than one! Please call me 'Pickle'

TBH I didn't quite know where to put it so I'm fully expecting it to be moved later when a mod finds it. I'd subscribe for the minute to make your life easier later. (Or just search for threads I've started in my profile!)

I couldn't join a no more books thread, I just couldn't; sorry.we reckon as a family we have more books than our admittedly very small local rural library. We're planning house purchase based on room for ur stuff and books, not on what we need (there are two of us, technically we could fit in a one bed or studio...)
That sounds like me with the books:o There are various reasons for the alterations/extension we are going to do to our house this year but one part of it is so that I can actually have a "library" room:o Will have to double as a study for my work - but better than having to keep putting them in boxes in the loft:o. Don't buy so many now though, I use the library van that comes around (when he comes - rolleyes) and this helps both financially and space wise.
Don't worry about the loo roll fetish: I have IBS so I tend to hoard them as well:D My idea of absolute pergatory is getting caught with no loo rolls:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:"there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0 -
Last Friday evening my friends husband said to me, "That perfume is quite strong, have you just topped it up in the car?" I replied "No, I put this on at 7am this morning!"
It must have been really strong all day, no wonder no-one came into my office to see me
My DS1 got a bottle of Diesel for Life for Christmas and I absolutely hate it! I can taste it all day! It seems to kill my sense of smell for anything else completely and I shall be heartily glad when he has finished it! He has been using it for school so that it gets gone:D
He loves really nice smellies: and has absolutely NO trouble using them up (again need rollyeyes) but this one is a definite no for the future. His favourites are Davidoff Cool Water and Armani He and I love both of those so I can't wait for him to finish the Diesel and move onto those:j"there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0
