Reading about hoarding other stuff is making me uncomfortable in my seat... As is thinking about how little my mum had. :(

But hey, we're on the road to salvation right. So hopefully our mums and that will be proud. Plus I am finding it a real novelty to think, oo I need shampoo, which one shall I buy. Look at me, I'm growing. :D

I agree about scents, they bring back memories better than any sight or sound ever could. I think smell is my most powerful sense.

I have to agree with this and didn't really think about it till you mentioned it but I've just discovered a mostly unused Body Shop Indian Gardenia set that an ex from a difficult/happy/sad/exciting relationship gave me, I just don't know what to do with it as every time I smell it reminds me of all the best and worst moments. Sometimes I spray the perfume on and think about him and wonder if I made a huge mistake. That, a perfume and a photo are all I have left of him and I don't know if I should use it up orput it in a special box and keep it forever :o

Do you collect recipe cards as well tara? I'm a sod for that! :rotfl:

No, I do collect cook books though (with more recipes than I will ever use :o)... and diet/weight loss books. :rotfl: And I cut recipes out of magazines and keep them in a box!

I'm just checking out all your hoarding tendencies and I don't think I hoard anything yet. Maybe a few books here and there... but when I get too many and specially stuff I know I'm never going to read I hand them into the charity shop. I hate the idea of people throwing books away so I'll always give them a good home :o

I'm half way through the 1st book in the True Blood series and finding it a bit slow but thats only because I've seen the 1st series on tv and know whats happening. Theres enough differences for me to carry on though and it's not identical to the tv. I'm waiting for my Dad to finish Truman Capote, In Cold Blood because he thinks I'll like it... hopefully I'll time it perfectly for finishing this 1st book ;)

I didn't get round to painting my nails, I fell asleep on the couch instead and now I can't be bothered... it's not even Monday anymore lol.

While I'm here what are GWP vouchers? I've seen it mentioned a few times and I'm scared I'm missing out on something :o

BTW you's lot can gossip for England, it's took me ages to get to the end of the thread... which is probably the middle again by now :rotfl:
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.

See for me this is a lot of the reason why I owe so much.
My parents have never had money, ever. Everything they had went on bills, and us.
Now I am in a good job I tend to either buy her things, from sweets and small things to a washing machine/tv etc.

Also with her being on a very low income, I feel that I need to support her to, so all my spare money used to go to her. I have had to stop that for the moment, but I feel so very guilty when I can't send her home some money.

    Anyway...moving on...
