and I've decided to throw out the body butter I'm using because it's horrid, te m&s shea body butter, I've used half and I'm hating it, it feels horrid as it goes on and a funny smell lingers afterwards. I dunno what that is all about because it's not old. In my defence I did pay half price for it, so having paid half price and used half in my head I feel I can throw it away (hey it works in my head!!) So I'm going to rescue something else out of my stash later.

Gotta agree with tihs. its plasticky isnt it. Just like the M&S scrub I had, Im not impressed at all. the prob is i have to persevere with it, as the other 2 butters I have in stores are rubbish too :(
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Starting to HATE S&G packaging. It's a total hassle getting the body butter out of the tubes. Would be far better in pots :(

I agree! I prefer the Righteous Butter anyway, would not buy the tube stuff again after using up my hatbox goodies. I find the best thing it to put it on the side of the bath and lean on it! :rotfl:

I am really grateful for this thread. I had over an hour to kill at Manchester Piccadilly this afternoon, so I thought I'd have a little nosey round Bodyshop. There was loads of things that I thought "ooohh... that looks interesting..." but I was strong and walked straight back out of there. If it wasn't for this thread I would have undoubtedly bought something that I wouldn't use.

    So.... THANKS EVERYONE!

    Well done you!!!!! :T:T:T:beer::beer:

Tara, I'd refund her straightaway. Like you say, you'll have to refund her in any case and you're more likely to get good feedback if you do. If you tell the buyer she has to wait, no matter how politely you do it, she might take the hump and file a dispute to get her refund.

    Thanks xo
Hi Tara, dont be sorry, i think this thread has a great community feel and its nice that we can share bits of our lives.

Thanks for the advice, promise to catch up properly with you all tomorrow xoxoxo

Oh wow thats strange!! I LOVE the Shea Butter one from M&S  Infact I'm off for a bath in a bit and haven't decided on that or my S&G body butter. It soaks in really well and smells gorgeous. I can understand your logic about paying half price/throwing half away... it's probably how I'd explain it too :p

I haven't thought about putting money away when I use something up and not buy something else. Maybe I'd save quicker if I did... will have a think about it and work out what would be best for me.

Right, off to run myself a bath, and have a rumage through my stuff to see what I can use :T
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.

I cut them up when they are running low, starting at the top, and when i've got out as much as i can with my finger i cut the next strip off and reapeat until i've got down to the bottom, you can get loads more out that way ;) (or maybe i'm overly tight)
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

Not overly tight just frugal, I cut all my tubes open when they get to the end. I scoop the contents out and into a clean cosmetic container, stops the product drying out.

I was very good today, I resisted big temptation, as loads of good offers on at the moment. I picked up two Aussie 3 min miracle conditioners as they were on offer, two for £5, and put them back (not needed)

Picked up a carmax lip balm £2.49, put it back as I don't need it yet.

Picked up some Norwegan moisturiser, £4.79 put it back as its not needed.

Picked up some original source mint and tea tree shower gel as was on offer for £1.50, but put back.

Was a bit naughty Wednesday though, bought the new Sure Naturals Deo in Sainsbury as it was on offer, £1.49 ish I think.

Plus 4 packs on my Johnsons green face wipes and 2 for £4.

Well done Vikki :T bet you're really chuffed!

Totally agree, they really need to put 'The Daily Smooth' in a tub :(

Great pix Christmas, I too love the pillow mist, not sure it does anything for me but sure is a good placebo :D

Used up the last of a 'Barefoot Doctor Damn Sexy' bubble bath today, it smelt gorgeous! Shame it stopped being on sale in 2003 :rotfl:. Maybe it will be on ebay :D. Off to cover myself in some Lush 'Sexy Underwear' talc in a sec, do like the smell of this but unsure whether I should be using a moisturiser first?

I couldn't even begin to imagine doing that. The thought of having chopped up bits of tubes in my bathroom is too much to bear! I'm totally anal about my bathroom and all my toiletries are arranged in a certain way. I can't even have the tube of Daily Smooth on show cos it's all crumpled and horrible looking now that it's nearly done :(
    Sad, I know.
