Just to continue with the RM discussion, I used to live in a place where my mail never got delivered to me (although my housemates seemed to get theirs), it got to the point where I had to get my mail delivered to a friends place. I complained to RM but they didn't do anything and they never got back to me to tell me they were going to do nothing, it was very frustrating (I am still not sure if it was RM or my housemates taking my mail). We also used to get mail for a property down the road delivered to our place, which I used to re-deliver to them and I suspect they were getting my mail but not passing it back to me.
When I moved house (from a the next place I lived in) I paid RM for mail redirection which didn't work for the first month (my ex-housemate in that place had to forward the mail to me), when I phoned RM to ask why it wasn't working and to see if I could get a refund for the service I wasn't receiving, they told me that 'they could offer me a refund as a gesture of goodwill, but they weren’t going to', I also asked if I could have another month on the end and they declined that too.
And finally, I live in a place on my own now with a large mailbox in a locked mailroom. I went on a holiday for a week late last year and was expecting to get back and have a recorded delivery card in the post (for an item I was expecting). However, when I got back the 'Recorded Signed For' item was in my mailbox - I have no idea who signed for it as it wasn't me (lucky it was there though I guess)!! Parcels for me are also quite often just left in the mail room for me or others in my building to pick up, I do worry about the security of it really!
I don't trust RM at all... I want to start e-baying and am nervous about how RM may stuff things up!!!I'm buying No More Toiletries, I'm Deluttering and I'm Losing Weight for 2010!0 -

What a shame we don't live next door to each other................we could keep each other happily supplied with our rejects:p
I gave 2 bottles of toner to charity shop as we don't use it
Threw away nearly full Aussie leave in conditioner as I HATED it!
Using Aquafresh quite happily atm!
Trying to justify buying a tub of body butter atm as I have none and am hating all the cold and watery lotions and cheapy creams that are all I've got left.
No wonder there are so many products on the market to meet all our diverse requirements!!:rotfl:
Oh if only we could organise a big swap meeting for us to meet up and swap all the products we hate for things we like - would be very :money: and would help us all get stashes that we can't wait to use.
Had a lovely shower this morning after working up a sweat giving the house a clean (cable guy took ages so cleaned upstairs while he was here). Used some of my Elle scrub which is really nice but wouldn't buy for myself as can get something just as nice for much less at tesco's. Only got the dregs left in my shower gel so hopefully that will be gone this week.
Will try and take some piccys of my stash later and post them over the weekend. Everyone else has been very brave posting theirs.0 -
Is there anyone else that feels they'll still be on this thread this time next year, still with plenty left to use up _pale_
Yes me!
I'm thinking next year and the year after for me. I've got to use up my stash by the end of 2011. (Shower gels only) - they will have come to the end of their "unopened 2 year shelf life". Although, how you can ever tell how long anything has been sat on the shelf in Boots or Binns or a supermarket for, I don't know!! By the time you have got a product home it could be two years old already.
Anyway thanks for that comment it got me thinking.[/QUOTE]
Bev, I shouldn't worry, I'm using shower gels that I bought in 2004/2005 and they're still fine.Did owe £9,951.96

Good afternoon to you all :T
Used up this morning was an Asda shower gel, used by my son... although I'm sure I might get another go out of itGot 3 more waiting to be used lol.
Sold my phone last night on ebay and although I was going to post RM 1st class the lady in the Post Office said it was effectivley rubbish so my OH sent it special delivery instead. It addad £2.20 to the price of postage but I got a fair bit more for the phone than I expected so I'd rather make sure it gets there safe and sound. Not sure ebay is for me, I'm enjoying the money but not the stressI've just got to try not to spend it on more toiletries... still saving for my bike jacket, chanel No5, council tax etc.....
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
I bought the reduced to clear 17 Parisian Nights GWP with points today, because I thought it was cute, and don't have a nail varnish that particular shade (though I've got dozens of other nail varnishes to use up...) Sorry.0

Yesterday I used up an entire full bottle of shower gel in one shower. It was lilac and something but it was so old it smelled like a dentists room to me. Plus it came out like jelly so wanted to recycle the bottle and get rid of the product. Could still smell it on my arm some hours later, the slight lilac smell; wasn't too bad but one bottle down. :j
Nearly at the bottom of a big can of deoderant I've had about 4 years.
Nearly out of Garnier toner too, after that I have the No7 one, but that's oily so dunno if I like it.
Don't think I've bought anything new other than the conditioner and shave gel I needed, and some cheap moisture gloves.
On the cereal bar hoarding side of things though.. I bought another 3 boxes because my local Asda had a massive stand of all different types. 8 Nutrigrain bars for a pound wasn't bad, plus got those Special K mini breaks which are quite yummy. Might get some more.Have been eating some of my old ones too though.
