please help pc wont load up

hi rik, sorry for delay i think all is ok now fingers crossed loaded up normal way today and seems pretty fast now so maybe it was sky network playing up never thought of this as never had problems with them before.
i just looked at device manager and display adaptors and they seem to be back in there and says there working fine.
so im still puzzled as to what stopped screen working properly maybe we'll never know.
i'd like to say thank you very much for your help tho i am really greatful and also others who helped i'm a happy bunny again :j:Dhave now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0 -

There will be a display driver in there as the operating system has them by default
Did you NOT uninstall it when I asked?
If you did it NEEDS reinstalling and we need to know what the graphics chip is to do that:idea:0 -
hi, yes i clicked on it and then clicked uninstall when you asked so not sure whether this is the same 1.
the one in device manager now is as follows:
intel(R) 82915g/gv/910gl express chipset family
driver version is 6.14.10.4308.
im sorry but i dont know how to find out the chip bit you need to know so could you please tell me where to look?

Goto WINDOWS UPDATE (Start menu bottom left)
Select CUSTOM and HARDWARE and install everything you can:idea:0 -
