A suggestion: try using firefox (it's a browser like Internet Exploder)
    http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/

or Chrome (not a fan personally)
    http://www.google.com/chrome

    or Opera
    http://www.opera.com/

Try one of the above and see if internet use is any quicker? This will help rule in/out your IE update?
ah yeah thanks never thought of that will try firefox

Have a check how many restricted sites you have listed in IE8.

Open IE8 and click on Tools (top right)
    Click on Internet Options
    Click on the Security Tab
Click on the Restricted Sites sign
    Click on Sites

Count how many sites are in the Websites window please.

Hi crystal9 - are you able to update Spybot Search & Destroy then run a scan with it? I've recently found, in many recent cases, that it usually picks up stuff that Malwarebytes doesn't.

    Hi Crystal

Okay you don't need to count them all :rotfl:

One possible cause for IE8 slowing down is if you have to many restricted sites listed, I'm wondering if its the same in firefox?

Do you have Spywareblaster on your computer?

Odd, spywareblaster shouldn't cause the IE8 slowing down problem due to restricted sites but spybot would?

If you add to many restricted sites to IE8 then it gets glitchy.

Do you have spybot on your computer or have had it on your computer in the past crystal?

the load up seems ok just seems using internet is very slow now so maybe it is ie8??

how do i reinstall the graphics driver please?

Go back to DEVICE MANGER and see if it tells you what the graphics card is
(this isnt going to fix slow connections, but it should speed up any graphics moving around)
