(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((anguk)))))))))))))))))) my thoughts and prayers are with you just now.
You must do whats is right for you, I can understand you wanting to remember him as he was before he went to theatre.........
Lunch was very nice, I enjoyed every mouthful because I had not had to cook it. We both had roast pork with roast spuds, peas, cauliflower cheese, gravy. For pud we had Eves pudding with custard.
We have done a bit more packing but I am packed out......the landing curtains are down, just have to take the sitting room ones down tomorrow.
Cheese and mango chutney sarnies, cup a soup and a buttered tea cake for the journey. I have made two containers of salad to have with cooked chicken drumsticks and some beef when we get to the Travel Lodge at Berwick upon Tweed.. OH has emptied the kitchen freezer and put the stuff in the outside freezer. The fridge will be emptied into the freezer box in the morning.
Before we go to bed I have to dismantle the TV, router and sky box, will put the TV in a box wrapped in one of the sitting room curtains the other one will go round the sky box and DVD player in another box. The boxes that are left are for the removers to pack whats left.
Will maybe post tomorrow night depends on what time we get away for the drive to BOT.
I hope I sleep better tonight, I am shattered but trying not to snooze until I go to bed.
We have just had our supper, roast beef and horseradish sarnies and a cherry bakewell.........Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Sorry to hear of your situation AngUK. Agree with others that you must do what you feelis right for you. Thinking of you and yours at this difficult timeThere is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0

I've had a productive day today.
I made fruit crumble and Twink's famous hob nobs.
I've also sorted some work for the girls, and came across a rather sad but uplifting story about Sadako Sasaski and her class mates, which we will be looking at this week.
Still have my sore throat and my voice is no more than a whisper now, which is annoying.
Looking forward to dinner thoughThere is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -

Bitsy - I second Taplady & Redruby, I've had a Mirena for almost 2 years and my visits from the decorators have all but ceased
. It was uncomfortable having it "fitted", like bad cramps, but then again, I'd had Depo jabs for years and had forgotten what period pains felt like!
I like your description Floss:D:rotfl: Bitsy its only painful briefly and you are advised to take a painkiller before you go. when I went my lovely female doctor gave me a drink and a kitkat afterwards:)(didn't get a sticker though:D) she said the male doctors only give you a cup of tea!:DDo what you love :happyhear0
