You're getting yourself in a pickle now Jamie, I'd wave the white flag if I were you.

I don't practice, but I do agree with you! I'll only state something like that when I am completely confident in my facts, but this is A Level stuff. ;)

Just couldn't resist a quote like that!

JamieT: if I were you I wouldn't waste my time trying to prove dmg wrong here, he (she?) is correct and able to back up their assertions, which you seem unable to do.

To the topic at hand, I work for a hotel chain and we would more than likely not honour something like this. The company the OP booked through is a third party, and is very unlikely to have direct access to the hotel's booking system. The company the OP booked through offered it, not the hotel, so it's their problem. Most likely result will be a refund from the booking company.

Plus if you went to a shop and picked up a top labelled £9, went to the till and it came up £12, legally they have to charge you £9 (unless its proven you changed the label lol).
So guess it would be the same in this case when purchasing a hotel room online.

I once got a room worth £99 a night for £32, via lastminute.com so deals do assist.

You are clearly incorrect, unless you are not suggesting that the OP could pursue his case through the criminal courts?

(I'm trying to be serious here, but this is becoming comical!)
    Gone ... or have I?

Check TR's website of how they obtain rooms

Breasts don't necessarily guarantee a female!

Not suggesting that at all, and indeed if that how my posts have come across then I apologise.
  • However going back to the OP's case, she would have a case but not one that I would take up through SCC

I don't have time to trawl through. Can you quote where they say they have access to internal booking systems?

How would you suggest the OP asserts the rights that you say they have, if not through small claims?
