cost of tiling

I am reading through this since I am looking to get some work done and trying to get a feel for numbers. To me I can totally understand the prices being high for small areas - proportionately the travel time is going to be high, the amount of fiddling is going to be high and it is going to be a potential hassle working out where to do 'the rest of the day'.
I would presume that the price per square meter will come down very notably were you asking someone to tile a complete room instead of a fiddly job. In my case we will be looking something like 20 square meters in big tiles without too much in the way of awkward spaces... I most certainly would hope that fitting would not cost me £1600!Always overestimating...0
