well, as they say: "if you don't play the game, don't make the rules!" Please don't make judgements on other people's circumstances, when you don't know all the facts. To sum up, if you don't have anything useful to contribute, can you please refrain from spamming these threads.
thank you0 -
Angelic feel free to post in this thread, your opinion is welcome by other MSE members as any contributer.
For some reason the OP thinks he can stipluate who can and can't pot on this thread which is on an open forum0 -
To the point, car insurance company recommendations was the request and what this thread, set up by me and thus primarily for me, but of possible use to other like minded PARENTS was intended for
What this forum was not set up for was 1) the subject of FRONTING,2) talking about how to deal/handle children, particularly those who do not have any of their own.
It is not helped either by posters suggesting the rediculous purchase of BMW's for 17 year old's.
The thread was quite specific, but i see that some people do not take note and have their own agenda
Thus far, i can honestly say that no one has come up with anything to beat what i already had by way of my own research. ie Quinn Direct, my own Churchill and possibly now Admiral who come in at £2432
The so called insurance expert is a joke along with his sterilised troll0 -
I think buying the newish car and then spending £2K per year on insurance is a good way of wasting an inheritance.
Do what everyone else does with their first car: enjoy the novelty of any car before getting hung up on what sort of car it is.Happy chappy0 -

How were the 2 million other threads asking the exact same questions on this forum not helpful to you then?pconstable wrote: »What this forum :silenced: was not set up for was 1) the subject of FRONTING,2) talking about how to deal/handle children, particularly those who do not have any of their own.

I think I'll print and frame this!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

Tom please read the OP's comments, he will not appreciate your comments if they do not fall within his strict guidelines. This is after all his thread0

While this thread is still alive, could I ask an insurance question please.
My son will be the main driver and my wife will be a named driver.
The questions when filling out insrance quotes online are
1) Registered Keeper
2)Legal owner
Now I have done a forum search and it came up blank.
My question is, do these have any bearing on insurance if my son is both or my wife is both.
I do understand that any speeding tickets and speeding fines will be sent to the registered keeper. For insurance purposes, does it have any effect.0 -

It would ring alarm bells if the main driver wasn't the registered keeper and legal owner in the scenario aboveI was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

Yes I see your point, the car will eventually shared between our two sons, so to stop arguments we thought that neither would own or keep it.0
