Nope, Vitaras are still awful at going round corners

Well I have one, do you?

    I don't have a problem in mine.

I think you will find lots of your negative ideas are from the old models, Suzuki have reinvented themselves, a bit like Skoda (but obviously the PR hasn't been as good as Skodas).

Look closely at the edges of the panel for hard masking lines and look in bonnet/door shuts for overspray which is a dead give away.

It may look ok to you to start with but if/when you come to sell it the buyer/garage is likely to spot any repair work and try and knock something off the price (I know I would:D).

Good advice, I would do exactly the same.

If it was visible as a repair in any way, I would reject it.

BMW's are fine in the snow as long as you fill the boot up with ballast. Front wheel drive cars have the engine weight to push the front wheels down.

You may well be right, I don't know, but if so then this is a point that seems to escape the majority of BMW drivers. Usually I guess it isn't a big enough problem to matter that much in the UK but I still can't help but thinking that either way a RWD car is the last thing you'd want in the sort of snow we had just before Christmas.

Strange how everybody managed in far worse conditions, and before the introduction of FWD.;)

No i dont have one, but i've driven one. One of the reasons why i wouldnt own one is because of the handling.

Relative to handling and drive, there are very few 4x4s that will match a focus - and the Vitara isnt one of them.

If you want a car that rearranges your internal organs when cornering, try a Lexus RX, I absolutely hate my husbands (especially when he's driving). He's got a broken arm so I've been driving it for the last four weeks, it's like driving a high powered coach built Silvercross pram. I just hope he doesn't get another in May when he changes his car.
