  • My pain subsided on the 2nd day of antibiotics. I think you should call them tomorrow if no better. Don't keep waiting, if you feel something is wrong you will probably be right. Nothing is worth taking a risk over Xx

I think they told me something like if you have to change the pad more than once an hour to call them?

Hi everyone, sorry to pop in but I just wanted to say to Rosie that you must be seen if you are passing large clots. Please try to wipe before sitting down on the loo so you can catch the clot and save it and take it in with you. Don't call ahead if you feel uncomfortable just walk into A&E. You could call your GP first if you need to but please don't ignore large clots because you're worried you're making a nuisance of yourself. You're not, keep in mind this is the caring profession (even if some people forget that) and their job is to care for you each and every time you need it. Besides, we very much know that people can change in a matter of minutes so re-admissions an hour or so after discharge isn't as uncommon as you think.

Large blood clots are not normal, so please be seen every time you see one. You really should have been kept in last time so your loss could be properly assessed and diagnosed, and, whilst I'm at it, no one else should be saying what you do or don't want regarding your care, this is for you to decide.

  • Happy birthday PLMBL.

Thank you Toto. It never occurred to me to save clots - i'll start doing that on the larger ones. I guess I was expecting them to was to see something - after the op last week, the first pee was done in a bed pan over the loo so they could see how much was coming out. It wouldn't of been hard for them to ask me to do that on Sunday night.

I'm exhausted today. Not done a thing other than drift in and out of sleep. Come downstairs for some air and water.

How is everyone else today? xx

Hugs Rosie, glad to see you are feeling a bit better. Good you are getting lots of rest.

A very very very happy birthday Plmbl!!!!! Hope you have treats planned.

Good news that work went okay Ttc :)

I'm feeling so much better this week. Far more normal! Not even cursing pg women that I see on the tube anymore :o Just one more cycle before we start trying again. I am really excited about it. DH has arthritis and is in a lot of pain atm, so hope he feels better soon too. I am deaming of morning sickness and a successful pg (I didn't have many symptoms last time). I hope it is in the near future for all of us xx
