  • Got myself upset while at Asd@ today :(. Woman behind me in the queue had a tiny baby and man infront had toddler twins. Really made me feel my loss. Been miserable since and can't shake it.

Everyone (eg Mum, MIL etc) seems to have stopped asking how I am and I feel like they've all moved on and I'm left alone if you know what I mean. It's been 3 weeks, am I being melodramatic? Xx

    Hi PLMBL,

3 weeks? That's nothing, no time at all. Of course you're not being melodramatic.
I'm really sorry it was so awful for you today, and please be assured that you are completely normal. Your body is only just starting to recover and your emotional recovery will take a while too.

Please take care of yourself and don't let other people's view of the situation colour how you feel.

    Best wishes
    MsB x
  • Thanks MsB.

I seemed to 'bounce back' quicker emotionally last time. Not sure whether it's because it was twins this time, or because it's my 3rd one, or because my physical recovery took months last time so hormones were more balanced, or because we are going to have tests and if there is a problem we probably won't try again.

    Probably all of it!! Xx

PLMBL - I don't think you're being melodramatic at all. 3 weeks is no time at all.

I hope everyone is doing ok?

I didn't phone hospital today. I just couldn't cope with being fobbed off again. I stayed in bed till this afternoon. Then went to Tesco, where I had to sit down half way through shopping. Cramps left me unable to stand up for long. I came home and passed some more clots. Then I went back to bed. Bed, pain & blood; seem to be my day..

    How is everyone feeling today?

I'm visiting the in laws this weekend. It's hard because they haven't even mentioned the mc. DH is gutted, I think he really wanted to chat to his Mum about everything. They are great people and I'm sure just don't want to upset us, but it feels weird.

Had a haircut today which was great!!! Thanks ladies. Also got a new jumper from TK's.

Just had a few too many glasses of wine maybe. Just wondering why my pregnant friends got to keep their babies and I did not. Can't get my head around it and never will really. It's so hard that ultimately there are no answers.

Huge hugs Rosie, hugs hugs Plmbl, Ttc 39, Samtoby and all the other wonderful posters. I can't say what it means to have a place to be so honest and so understood.

  • Rosie I hope you feel better today. What you are going through still doesn't sound normal so if you are still unwell today please get checked out. Xx

Lara I hope it all goes well at the inlaws. Can't believe they haven't discussed it AT ALL! Perhaps your DH needs to bring it up. Glad you got your hair cut and bought yourself something new. Hope it makes you feel a little better. Hugs for the 'why me?!' Feelings last night Xx

I feel better than I did yesterday. Had a chill out evening infront of the tv and went to bed at 9pm in the hope of feeling more positive today. I've had a few spots of blood which although a week early for a period, made me feel strangely comforted, like maybe my moods are hormone related rather than crazy related!! Xx

i'm not doing so well. crippling clots, severed pain. I called the gynae unit and was told to go to A&E.

just waiting for bf to come home so he can take me.

Clots wont even flush away - that scared me :(

painkillers not touching the pain either.
  • Take a bag Rosie, they might have to keep you in. I'm so sorry it hasn't got any better for you. Hope your bf will be home quickly. Thinking of you Xx

  • Rosie - so sorry you're still not right. Hope your BF is home soon, otherwise my advice would be to take a taxi and get yourself seen asap. I agree with others, pack a bag and prepare to stay in, they need to sort you out as it sounds like your bleeding is more heavy than it should be.

Keep us posted on how you're doing.
