Rosie - how are you this morning? Do you have someone with you today?

When I've had GA I've usually been told to have someone with me for at least 24 hours as you can feel dizzy afterwards (as you've found). If that's not an option, just stay in bed sweetie. get yourself comfy with everything you need and get a good long rest, you need it.

Oh, and FWIW, I've had all manner of suppositories so feel free to pm :)
  • Rosie please get checked out. I also had more pain that they told me I would with my ERPC last time and it turned out to be an infection. Few days of antibiotics and I was much better again. The other worry is a perforated womb and that is not to be messed with. Please, please at least ring the ward you were on and discuss it with them Xx

Ttc, hair sounds fab and the rose bush will be lovely I'm sure.

Hope everyone is ok today. Xx

Hi everyone, hope your day goes ok. Weekends can be a bit tough.

Rosie, how are you today? I think we're all feeling a bit worried about you! Please let us know how you're doing.
  • glad you like your hair ttc39! I went from waist length to shoulder length last year and it took a little bit of time to get used to.

Thank you for all being so nice. I've bled through a fair few pads now.

Am going to call the hospital soon. Just don't want them thinking I'm making a big deal out of nothing. I do have a fairly high threshold for pain. Periods have always be extremely heavy, with bad clotting. Pain so bad that I can't stand up sometimes cos my legs are so weak. I cope with that with tranxamic and mefleamic acid (sorry .. bad spelling).

Bf had booked tickets last week for a few of us to go to cinema, he thought it would cheer me up. I told him it would depend on pain/bleeding as I don't really want to sit through two hours of film and not be able to go to loo. So I've told him I can't go later and now he's being !!!!y about it :(
  • Rosie I don't want to scare you but what you are describing doesn't sound 'normal'. They won't think you are making a big deal out of nothing. Please make the call, for all of us on this thread if not for yourself.

Sorry to be blunt but your bf needs a swift kick to the behind. You have been through a major trauma and you need lots of looking after not a trip to the cinema. Big hugs Xx

    Hi Ladies

Rosie, (((((((((HUGS)))))))) definitely do make that call. Medical services are also there for reassurance, please don't feel bad about contacting them. The staff will be happy to listen to you and advise appropriately. I am so sorry you're not feeling great.

Have you had a heart to heart with your BF? His behaviour sounds way off. Hang in there, things will get better xxxx

TTC ohhh glad you got a lovely haircut too! I booked an appointment for Saturday inspired by PLMBL. I'm in the middle of growing mine out so it's getting near the banshee territory(!).

    Hugs xxx

  • I phoned the Day Surgery unit. She was awful :(
I wish it was the nurse I had on Wednesday.

I told her I was worried about the increase in pain, and the clotting. She said that's all normal. I said but it says on my sheet to call if this happens. She tutted at me and asked what I expected after what i'd had done?!?!

I said I honestly don't know. She asked about dizziness. I told her about passing out last night, she said well that's the GA you had. She said that I could go in later if I felt it was needed(!)

I told her about pad changes being frequent, and clots stuck at bottom of loo after I flush (sorry tmi) and she said well I can't see your pad down the phone can I??

I feel awful now. Really do. can't stop crying. don't know what to do.

She said call back later if I really need to. but I don't feel I can now?
