I wish we could try again :( Took us over 4 years and ICSI to get our little miracle, it's never going to happen naturally. I just feel so sad, so soul-sappingly "what is the point of getting out of bed" sad about knowing it won't happen again.

Definitely know where you're all coming from about knowing how far along we 'should' be. My EDD was christmas day - so no chance of forgetting that one.

So sorry to hear that tea lover :( I hope my comments weren't upsetting for you. Do you have funding for another ICSI? Apologies if you don't want to talk about it here.

Well this is the right place for a really big whinge :)

It's great to be able to post here about the sad stuff, because it's not so easy to talk to people IRL.

Sweatybetty do you do acupuncture? Would you recommend it? I was thinking of visiting a naturopath. Usually I am quite sceptical but I am willing to try anything at the moment!
    . xx

Hello there - yes I went to acupuncture when I conceived the twins. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not but am choosing to believe not as acupuncture also helped when I had back problems. I went back last week and she reckons she'll help to get my hormones back to normal and prepared for ttc again. I think if you can find one that specialises in fertility, that's your best bet. A friend has also conceived after fertility reflexology, which I may try too.

Thanks Sweatybetty, I found a local practitioner who does both, and booked myself in for a session on Thursday. They kindly do a student discount which helps with the cost.

I also had the thyroid blood sample taken for the study Samtoby mentioned a few pages back. These feel like a few positive steps, at least something I can control.

Yeah I feel the same - you feel so out of control of what's happening its good to feel that you're actually doing something :)

Found today hard as my bleeding has now stopped almost. It has really hit me that I am waiting for CD1. I am so scared about even trying again. I just want to be on the 12-24 week thread. Every time I see it I feel a little :-(

Sweaty Betty - I can't imagine what you may feel even at the 20 week scan you will probably feel scared. But hopefully Lara or I or any other ladies on here might be living it with you.

Lara - Hormones play silly games. But hopefully you are ovulating.

    Hugs to all xx
