Thinking of you lots Abi, hope your dh and dd are looking after you and giving you lots of hugs x0

Sperm can live for up to 7 days so that gives you all the way up to the 13th. If your cycle is usually 32-34 days that means your af was due sometime around the 25th -27th which means you got a bfp at 10-12dpo. It's possibly you ov'd on the 11th then that would work with the dates. That means you could be as early as 5 weeks 1 day - 5 week 3 days pregnant. So you wouldnt see much on a scan. Don't forget everyone implants at different speeds so that could explain low hcg levels. Things could still turn around for you. I'm sorry if I'm being annoying I just want you to know its not all over yet and there is a glimmer of hope xxx0

That's what almost 3 years ttc and a million hours on the Internet does to you! I swear I could be a fertility dr now
Thank you, I am sick to my stomach with worry. I'm pretty certain it won't be good news but you never know I might just win the lottery tomorrow x0 -

Well... my scan results are inconclusive. i have a gestation sac, yolk sack and a fetal pole but no heartbeat. fetal pole is 3mm so most likely too small for there to be a heartbeat anyway. the question now is am i less pregnant than was first thought or has my baby stopped growing.only time will tell. i have another scan on valentines day (boo) so we will find out then, dr was actually very positive and said she thinks i am just not as far along as i should be. there is a possibilty all is ok, but would mean i got a positive test around 8-10dpo, which is obviously possible. it may be an answer for the low hcg numbers but obviously doesn't help the doubling times problem. so we now have another 9 days of waiting on our hands to find out good or bad. the waiting sucks, if in 9 days things are ok i will obviously be ecstatic but if they are not and my baby still measures the same i will be heartbroken and it will only make the pain worse to think it had stopped growing when we seen it on screen today.
ho hum. mixed emotions. One min i feel happy and positive the next i feel doom and gloom and its definetly bad! nightmare situation.
How are you today MSM?
And you too Abis?

GG sorry today was a bit inconclusive, but it's great that the Dr seems positive about things.
The waiting sucks, no two ways about it, but at least there is still hope.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
i completly agree, she seemed positive because of my pcos and irratic cycles, obviously if my dates were more accurate then things would be different. hoping and praying this baby is a fighter and is going to have a lovely heart beating away next week.
good luck for your scan MV x0 -
Hope tomorrow goes ok MSM.
Sorry that the results were inconclusive GG. I find the not knowing part very hard, so hope you are coping with that better than I would. Hope your next scan goes ok xx
I'm doing ok. I went back to work today - it was fine. Haven't cried I don't think today? I rang the doctors to find out if I needed to do anything, and they said I should have a blood pregnancy test to confirm everything was below normal levels. I think he was trying to say that home pregnancy tests weren't reliable and that I wasn't actually pregnant in the first place which was annoying me - but it was difficult to understand him - probably lucky for him cos he might have gotten an earfulThe path lab was closed by the time I had done my other jobs and collected the referral, so will have to go in the morning.
Bleeding isn't too bad today, neither are the cramps altho I did take some strong painkillers before work just in case I found them difficult.
Meant to say thank you MV for reminding me about painkillers. I was still in 'pregnant' mode and thinking I would have to take paracetamol which don't really do anything for me. I hadn't even considered ibroprufen until you saidIt eased a lot once I had some tablets and had a hot water bottle. Am sure the entire terrys chocolate orange I ate helped in some way as well
Not that the scales will probably agree with me
Was very grateful for a hug from DH when he got in. He works an hour away - it was just a shame I didn't get an hours notice on when the bleeding would start cos it would have been nicer to have him here. Thanks to everyone for their support tho - it means a lot xxxx
Feeling quite positive considering I suppose! Altho I always am little miss optimisticHoping to be more fertile this month, get upduffed, and have my forever baby. Third time lucky n all that
