  • Becky..thanks it! Thanks Stef.

Aww bless your OH Stef..he sounds ace.

My OH has been brilliant too. I've been moping about the house all day, and he comes home from work and cooks me dinner! I feel like a lazy cow, but just can't be ar5ed to cook at the moment.

He's gone into the study to play his guitar for a bit.

Stef can i borrow your oh, mine hates decorating lol ive just done my living room, and my oh keeps pointing out my patchy paint work lol x

My oh is getting there now i think he's not been as angry the last couple of weeks, and hasn't felt need need to disappear with the dog for an extended walk x He thinks the mc was his fault as he smokes, but we have 2 kids together, this has come more of a blow though as its the second mc in 19 months.
There's this place in me where your fingerprints still rest, your kisses still linger, and your whispers softly echo. It's the place where a part of you will forever be a part of me.

  • wow, i am glad to find this thread!
i had a miscarriage in september. the baby was much wanted after 7 months of TTC and we were absolutely devastated. i suffered a mental breakdown afterwards due to all of the emotions and the shock of it! i was hospitalised for 2 weeks but i wasent sectioned, i went in because i knew i had to go in.
anyway, i feel that i am healing from my miscarriage and that i am now grieving in a healthier way. i have a little grave for him and thats helped me alot. i am now off meds and just started TTC again. i hate the process of TTC but it will be worth it! :)
    take care xxx

Hello all - been lurking around here - I am a bloke, my OH will not look at these boards or any as it terrifies her!! I do like the poem on page 2 :)

Mrs and I had a MC a few months ago - first pg - it was a terrifying experience as we were all excited and thought we would see our baby on the screen - but nothing and it broke us. Took a lot out of us.

After a few months we managed to get pg for a 2nd time but we are so scared its going to happen again. We have a scan next week (11 weeks) and OH has lost all symptoms - does not feel tired, no breast soreness etc and we are fearing the worst although I am trying to be positive for her as much as I can as I am scared to death as well !!!

  • Aww Sarah..so sorry to hear about your loss. Welcome anyway..this thread is very supportive :)

Also sorry to hear about your breakdown. I think until you have been through a MC it doesn't occur how badly it can affect you x

  • Welcome AJ - its ridiculous for anyone to tell you not to worry, I spent 2 weeks with my stomach knotted in absolute terror, but please dont give up hope until you have had your scan.

Sending as many positive and sticky vibes your way as I can muster X

Thanks AJ for posting, one can forget blokes has feelings too:o

I have to say, neither of us have talked about the lost baby since our mc (baby died at 10 weeks) in Aug, I don't want to bring it up, and seems he doesn't want to either.

I talk about it a lot with my family though, siblings & parents. I don't think he has anyone... poor OH:( But I'm thinking perhaps he doesn't think much of it:p

Be positive for her, I lost all symptoms at 10 weeks, found out on our scan at 11 weeks:(
