I've not managed to get onto the forums for a couple of days due to a severe bout of SAD
SAD is miserable. I have had my SAD lamp on more than usual this week. It's just so grey at the moment.
I've also been pigging out today on not one but two cream cakes.I'm blaming the weather.
Hope you feel better soon. Spring certainly can't come soon enough for me.0 -
Woop, 1 & 3/4 pounds lost this week.
More swimming needed next week though. I do love it but my schedule this week hasn't let me fit it in more than once0 -
Well done Alex!
I'm still not ready to weigh, but I have lost a quarter inch since I last measured waist and hips...0 -
Well done Alexnikov and LIR!!!!!!!!

After about two weeks I find the ''want'' wears off. Then its all much easier. Rememebr the Paul McKenna disgusting trick though, it will help.0 -
Morning all.
Just popping by to say that I think i'm going to delete this weekas I just can't seem to stop stuffing my face! biscuits....chocolate....crisps.....Arrhhhh!!!!
:EasterBun - this is sooo true!!
TOTM has arrived for me, and the kids are home for half term, which ALWAYS test's my willpower. Not sure if I've got any left this week. Not really done much with the kids this week as I've been so tired and DS had me up 5 times last night between 1am and 3.30am as well, so today i'm completely shattered.
The kids have drove me mad (maybe cos I was pm) and don't listen to a word I say :wall: and are climbing the walls and now we've got snow  and all I want to do is curl up and go to sleep!
Looks like I wont be going swimming again on monday (TOTM) so a loss for me isn't likely this week more like a put on
Sorry for the rant ladies and gents, but it does help to get it out! Thanks for listening!
Hopefully The weekend will be better (foodwise and weatherwise), Happy Friday everyone!:money::money::money::money:

Hi everyone, still no loss to report, but no gain either, shouldn't complain but it is so frustrating:o
Finally been for a jog this week (hubby had sprained his ankle at footy and it was only good enough to run this week) I actually quite enjoyed it - we were out for 20minutes, although hubby thinks I only actually ran for 8:rotfl: Need to get myself an ipod or maybe just some earplugs to block out his constant chatter and 'encouragement' - he sounds so patronising and not a bit out of breath!
He's on nights over the weekend so will go on Sunday next and aiming to actually run for 9 minutes:D Got to admit I felt great afterwards - really loose and relaxed and I slept SO well! Aiming to get out at least 3 times a week so fingers crossed it will kickstart some weight loss.0 -

Good idea.......that's what I do too, does stop you overdoing it at the weekends - usually :rotfl: xx:money::money::money::money:

I hope everyone is busy. I should have added I'm especially please with 1/4 inch because I've measured at the wrong time of the month.
I had the weirdest craving earlier for a milkshake. I was out and a bout and I just kept really wanting a milkshake. Anyway, the weirdest thing is, having tried to quash this craving I discovered a new milkshake parlour has open in a local town...opposite where I parked....I had gone to buy one specific thing (a pair of boots) and they were sold, and so I had shopping dissapointment, and the insane milkshake craving and here was the answer to all my prayers....and I walked right past and got in the car.
Of course, we all ignore cravings every day, but this was in insane one, and it was so weird this new milkshake shop was right there, so I feel a little virtuous today.0
