Walkers Baked crisps :rotfl::o0

Hmmm. :rotfl:
Thanks. I am determined to beat the cravings! If I could even get back to 8.5 stone I would be sooo happy. I'll be on here looking for support.
That' why I took up cross stitch - very hard to eat if your hands are busy. I guess knitting works too but was never any good at that.0 -

I wonder if exercise is the key for you?
It might be, you know. I definitely need a combination of eating less and exercising more. Funnily enough, OH asked if I wanted to go for a walk earlier (SHOCK) so we went for about an hour, yay!
LOL at your OH!!! :rotfl:Walkers Baked crisps :rotfl::o

Aim to be debt free by Jan 2013! not now just bought a house:D0 -
I had chicken pakora (M&S version, really rather low cal!), oven chips and peas and carrots, that's got to be a much odder combination :rotfl:
tara - they are very nice, lovely and crunchy and not greasy like normal crisps. Less than 100 cals a bag too, can't go wrong.
Well I dragged myself swimming this evening and feel tons better for it. I've worked out that I was way under the cal limit for today though so have just had a cheeky drink and a banana. I think I need some sort of reminder that under 1200 cals is just not healthy0 -
First day of Lent!!!!!!! I actually feel strangely relieved that I am not going to be eating chocolate/sweets for a bit, I looked in the mirror this morning and resolved to make the most of this opportunity. Can't wait to get my French Women Don't Get Fat book!
Alexnikov, I might bookmark those crisps to try after Lent! Well done on the swimming, bet you feel great today.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Half way through February now and I've put on 1lb. The last few days have been a diet-zone disaster too, so I've decided not to weigh myself until the end of the month in the hope that I can backtrack a little on my weight loss.
My main problem seems to be eating when bored/stressed and snacking between meals. I'm going to make a concerted effort to stick to three meals per day plus an evening treat (options hot choc, alpen light bar, etc). I've decided to go cold turkey on chocolate biscuit bars (eg. kitkat, breakaway, penguins, club, etc) and give them up for LentI used to enjoy cross stitch (although wasn't good at it :rotfl:)so I'm thinking about getting myself a small kit in an effort to alleviate boredom and keep my hands busy. Should add that DH works nights, leaving for work at about 6.45pm so I'm often doing the stressful bedtime routine by myself then get bored later on without any adult company!
There was a really interesting article on caloriecount.com about binge eating http://caloriecount.about.com/concerns-binge-eating-disorder-b393046 which I can really relate toI seem to have developed an unhealthily relationship with food and my body image. Up until I had my first baby (I was 29) I was a size 16, had no idea how much I weighed but was happy with my body and didn't obsess about food or binge eat. After having my son I struggled to lose the baby weight, so when I reached a size 18 I decided to go to Weight Watchers for the very first time and that is when my obsession with weight and food started. I'll be 39 soon and I'm fed up of obsessing. Perhaps I should just give up counting points, go back to being a bit bigger and be happy again? It's something I've considered doing. I'm trying my hardest to make sure that my attitude doesn't rub off on my children (aged 9, 7 and 4) Anyhow, rant over... :rotfl:

I don't think I will reach my 5 lbs this month, but I hadn't factored that DH would be off for a week so eating and drinking more and also Valentines we ate very naughtily, oh and then Pancake day. Ah well, what's done is done. Weigh in this morning and I have lost 1/2 lb this week which puts me back to 2 weeks ago weight.0

If you really want to chew on something how about a carrot? - medium sized is only about 25 calories.
See if this helps.0 -
hello again everyone
Well I've been out of action for a few weeks; literally. I managed to hurt myself quite badly on the ice - damn cold snap - and so have not been my usual self seeing as I'm hobbling about on two horrible metal contraptions that are meant to help but only do more damage in the end and as I live on the second floor of a large terraced house - well chocolate and Jeremy Kyle know me very well by now!
So..... May I please omit feb and Start again, with a heck of a lot more determination, on 1st March, St Davids Day. Don't know what I mentioned that but there you go........
Please Dragon??????? I promise to never eat toblerone, caramel or chips curry & rice (chippy style) for the next .....(fill in the blank) months so that I can be a tad more slimline by my 27th birthday in October.
