Advent Training Gone bust... what now??

I don't recall actually ever receiving the terms and conditions, and i'm really good with keeping my paperwork together, can anyone post them on here?

it seems as though they are all different depending on when you took out the loan!

Even still though, it shouldnt matter when I finish the course fact is I havnt got my qualifications and have paid every payment to them since they said. It shouldnt matter if i went passed the course deadline that bloody advent set anyway not me.

hi guys, i've been doing the MCSA course for just over a year now, and have only got my A+
i've only just found out about them going bust though my dad watching the news, they didnt evan send me an email!!!!!

im on the barcley partner finance, so going by what the news said i've got to wait for what barcleys say, it said on the new the will find either same course or better.

will report back when i hear anything

Apparently BBC Birmingham have a reporter working on this Advent story at the minute. We all really need to stick together on this one I think.

My partner signed up to Advent last year. We're on their finance package with Barclays where you didn't have to pay anything for the first year and the interest kicks in after that - that'll be May 2010 for us. (I say us as the agreement had to be in my name as I was the only one in full time employment - before anyone asks, no I'm not rolling in it!!).

Today, I've been called Advent, the FLA and Financial Ombudsman to try and get some answers and didn't get through to anyone anywhere. So I called Barclays since they supplied the finance.

They told me they are fully aware of the situation and that as things stand, everything should be treated as normal for the timebeing. They are currently looking into other providers to take on the courses offered by Advent and said we should receive a letter on this in the next week or so once something has been arranged.

Hope that gives everyone a little more hope

Check your junk mail for the email from advent. That's where alot of people found theira. Me included

I think thats what the person I spoke to this morning was trying to get across so nice to have that confirmed.

Madge I think that only applies to those whose finance agreement is with Barclays.

Mine is with Advent Consulting / Advent Computer Training. I don't know what the outlook is for others in the same boat.

dont reckon i'll get any joy. unknowingly owe about 2k in arrears on my CDL... and barclays CDL dept said i am finnished my course.
