Ooh, sounds lovely! I love how everyone on this thread has been so supportive of everyone else. Amber's great!

No painkillers for me - don't know what my excuse is? Need to be awake to follow up on the post office saga! Should try and sleep!

Thanks for your help, nice chatting to you! Enjoy your few hours sleep
  • Yep, everyone is lovely, and Amber is my adopted Spanish mummy :)

Sweet dreams, and good luck for tomorrow! Let us know what happens!
    Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:
  • Bit dissapointed as I got up 6am and went out looking for bargins etc this morning (Saturday) and they were few and far between. Few things I got to make a few dollars on, but nothing decent. And now I am tired for nothing lol!

This will probably sound a bit nuts but I am getting a bit edgy about the 10k being divided into approx 800 a month! I just want the whole 10k so much, I mean I can realistically see getting to 4k just doing what I am doing already, but I can taste the 10k and want it BAD!!

Obviously this problem is caused by the fact that I forgot both chocolate and alcohol when I did the shopping today :rotfl:

  • Haha yes, I can't believe I couldn't find them...Amber helped, though, and I've found a gorgeous one for 650 euros a month, which is about £600 at the moment, and cheaper then our studio here! It has a balcony, too. And is quite close to OH's work.
    Tis a dream come true!

I'm quite excited to show everyone. Hence working at 3am!! Not tired in the slightest yet though.

Ohh, thats so cool! Was it one of the links she posted? Because I checked them out haha.

And as for changing courses I think you will be so happy with that decision, I did most of my study by distance learning/ online just because I got knocked up in second year lol, and I loved it. So easy to fit into your life that way.

Truly - hope you had a lovely evening. Missed you! Wow on the silver goblet on ebay! So how did you do your research, did you look at random completed listings or watch items ending now? (I have no idea where to start finding what is selling, ebay still bamboozles me!)

Saucy - wow about the notebooks. Really thing you should go for it, I have heard of them too. If you are worried do some googling if it is a scam it will already have been posted!! Honestly though what have you got to loose, but you do have a lot to gain!! Really looking forward to seeing the pics! And if you want a real opinion I would willingly look at one for you lol:rotfl:

And how fantastic of Amber to help you find a flat - woohoo! You had a good night last night, I mised it all I was in bed! I don't know why/what painkillers you are on but if they are messing up your life that much then I think you need to be going back to docs and seeing if they are the best ones for you!

Susie - I really hope his parcel turns up today, it still could and that is in time for Valentines! I wasin bed last night but I would just have explained that I was not at home to access his info so would be grateful if he could check with neighbours. Fingers crossed!

Right need to go shower, put slow cooker on and think about what else I am doing today. Should visit my dad too....I need fingers crossed that my dad can sign his signature close enough for the bank to accept it so I can withdraw money from his account to pay his rehab some money for his meals they are hassling me for. I have no cash I can access. He had a stroke was in hospital where they provided his meals, they decided that he should be in a rehab centre (great) but no-one said this would involve me/someone having to pay for his meals (he can't cook for himself) and also having to pay for shopping so they can teach him to make drinks and food again. Why if meals are free in hospital, and he is now in rehab because he is still in need of medical care and not fit to go home, are his meals not free now? Really think it is one of the things which should have been discussed not just happened and then I am handed a bill...enough to think about without having to have extra money worries, and that isn't even mentioning what a nightmare his insurance company are being (hew had a car accident when he had his stroke!) ARRRRG! Sorry, need to vent!

Anyway, enough of that lets all have a good weekend :j and of course my dads signature will be fine (otherwise will have to get power of attorny and that involves a solictitor and , oh yes, more costs!!!

Well done on the early morning start, that deserves to be rewarded. A few dollars each time adds up, but a lot of lolly adds up a whole lot quicker, I want to move on to the big bucks too.

    Love your dream Skintbint.

Just off to do a Pinecone survey.

    Have a good day everyone.

    hi guys!
had a few days off and now im back with avengence!!!
got 1 item ending on ebay today and 2 ending tomorrow, will also get some more bits listed for next week.
not buying anymore bits off ebay to resell, until i have sold everything. got 25.00 left in paypal for fees ect, 350 in my 10k account, and still got loads of stuff to sell.
owe 300 on one of my credit cards so may use the money in my 10k acc to pay that off in full (that would be sooo amazing) but will hang on till the end of feb when i do all my totals.
got another card i owe 390 on, so it would be amazing to pay that off by the end of march...hmmmm????

had a bit of a brain wave this morning, so think i now know where my secret talents lie... something i am interested in, would possibly make money but would be very enjoyable!
only prob is i dont have a shed, workshop or garage.
so may invest in a cheap gazebo and start scouting on ebay today for SMALL bits and bobs to practice on, and am watching a beautiful old chair that finishes tomorrow, so may get a bargain. pick up only, not too far away but have nooo idea how i would get it home! haha x

p.s you are all doing fantastically!!!
    LBM 14/9/11. Aqua paid off!

Saucy, I'd email Not on The High Street (not reply - fresh email) and ask if it was legit. There are so many scammers around these days I'm sure they wouldn't mind, esp if you worded it carefully. If they are legit ask what their normal expectations of a small supplier would be as there is a lot of difference between them asking for 10 a month or 100 a month or 1000 a month. Whether there is any exclusivity in the arrangement (could you still sell through Folksy, Etsy etc. or only through them). Also how pricing works - do you price and they take a cut? How big? Or do they do the pricing? There are a lot of things to think about as you could end up on their website with them pocketing most of the return for your work.

My crop-a-dile arrived today. Bought new from QVC in the end as got sniped on ebay once too often (with 7 seconds to go the last time - how p!$$ed off was I?). So if it works well on my CD pieces I'm cooking with gas and can start making pendants, bracelets and earrings by the shedload. I have the same problem as you other jewellery people - they are so bright and shiny IRL and just don't look like that in the pics.

Oh, BTW, DD had a charity fair in her school yesterday and bought me ..... a pendant necklace! V. sweet of her but obviously didn't occur to her that we have a ton of them at home LOL. (Just have to resist the temptation to take it to pieces to reuse!)

Oh, Hales, can you take me off the commitments board please? I am working like a dog here, but never seem to touch the things I post - only other stuff that really needs doing - and it is pretty demoralising for everything to stay red when I'm working really hard LOL. I'll maybe post on here what I have done, rather than what I plan to do, then I can see that I am doing stuff as I feel like I'm running to stand still a lot of the time.

Munchki, hope you are ok. You seem irrepressively positive most of the time, so I hope this is a blip and you'll get your mojo back soon.
