Oh and does anyone know where I can get cheap gift boxes from? I want the ones with lids - like the ones you can buy in card shops to put gifts in!!! God that sounds daft!!!

Card Warehouse tend to be reasonable.

We have a shop called "the £1 gift shop" and they do really big, pretty boxes. Would be well suited for hampers. Alternatively the 99p shop and wilkos normally have hamper baskets in stock. Or Dunne if you have one. Home Bargains too.

Can you tell I made hampers last year?

I know a lot of you have young children, wondered if anyone had tried signing with them? My brother and sis in law looked into it for their kids, but never actually tried it.

Could be a good opportunity for those with links to nurseries and new mums maybe?

I'm trained in this...used to do classes at the children's centre :o There was no money in it though, and lots of effort. You also need an up to date baby first aid certificate, and a training certificate in Signing...if anyones interested I'm happy to talk to them about marketing and stuff though? I had full classes, maybe a better business person could have made that into profit.

    I am so bored tonight!!

Edit - Not to be negative...I'm sure it works for a lot of people! I just think it's worth looking into possible interest and prices first, to make sure no one loses money!

Hmm...Does anyone else find something they could almost 100% make a profit on, and then just not be able to push themselves to take the jump?

Someone push me off the edge! Lol x

Edit - This is astonishingly lazy, but who was getting those super cute jumper dresses, and when are you expecting them? I want some so bad :P

  • has any one had a stall, and did you make money. went this week, its a warehouse full of individual stalls selling antiques and collectables, there is no need to man your stall as the place is fully staffed. and if someone wishes to purchase an item, the staff take care of it. the only thing was there were over 300 stalls and the place seemed empty and at the end of the day there were only four of us making purchases. i guess i answered my own question really unless any one else knows something I dont.
accross the road is an auction place which was shut has any one been in?
    thanks
if you cant do anything else save
    1006 saved wooho.
