    This is where having a bar manager for an OH comes in handy, he brought me two bottles home and there is precisely none left :rotfl:it seems to be randomly distributed but is very popular so hopefully will be more available soon!

    awww thank you for that. I would love to be a buyer, but you try breaking into it without having that lovely piece of paper (qualification) that says you can do it!! I have given up on the thought now

    What ever venture you end up involved in the main profit is usually made on the quality of the purchase ... if you have the ability to buy better than market then you will ultimately be quids in ... and when you are the head of your own little empire maybe you can have an enlightened hiring policy based on talent, capability and desire to achieve (something that does not come as standard with bits of paper ;)). If you play to your talents you are already at a distinct advantage to those who fear to. :)

    Don't give up on it - it's not a qualification that's needed for being a buyer, it's experience and you have that - it's just a case of capturing it all (and maybe exaggerating slightly) in your job apps/ CV - you can do it! We're all here to help, if you want it :beer:
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.

    I think I have always bargained but it has really come to light over the past couple of years and I love the buzz I get from it, and especially love the looks on the faces of whomever I am with at the time lol, usually it is priceless look of, I cant believe you just did that and got away with it lol...

    I agree with you that sometimes it is not a school or education thing but more of a natural ability. I love face to face sales as well but all but despise telemarketing, again think it has to do with the buzz of it all. I first started selling chocolate bars and magazines through school when I was prob about 9 or 10 and always had the top sales. Just now tired of everyone telling me I dont have the experience. Sorry and I dont mean to offend anyone, but my own personal opinion is that just having a piece of paper does not make you qualified however being 44 and having done it day in and day out does! *rant over*

    totally agree with you - deal with it day in day out and a piece of paper means absolutely nothing in my book - you cant replace real life experiences and knowledge
