I even put a note in my calendar a month before his birthday - "make f'ck all effort for his birthday" :o For his first birthday as a Daddy, I organised and paid for four nights away, and bought him 8 presents and put lots of effort into wrapping them and everything. Bought him a cake too. One of my friends txt me today asking if I'd got cake, so I txt him with "Sue asked if I have cake. Do I have cake? ;)" and still no cake

SM, no, it's not the presents, it's the effort. I know full well my necklace hasn't arrived because he only sent the imprint off last Wednesday when he asked me for a stamp.

I hate that Elle! Dh does the same, winds me up about everything.

He has some serious making up to do, a meal, a massage and a sparkly bracelet to match teh necklace when it arrives at least!

.. I've had a really !!!!!! year and some spoiling on my birthday wouldn't have gone a miss, that's all :(

Elle, please don't feel you have had a bad year. I know it's not been the easiest but you have the most wonderful little Rhysie and you are a fab mummy to him. You just have a duncy OH who is not showing you the amount of appreciation you deserve.

So, think about what Rhys would do for you if he was big enough. He would do all he could to tell you how glad he is that you are his mummy.

  • Sorry , didn't realise which paper it was... Just saw the headline when I searched facebook...

My sister has a similar sort of party when she was 16, the whole school turned up and half of them were drunk before they arrived... Thankfully our parents were at the pub down the road and swiftly returned before too much damage had occured...

Omg - genius!! I never would have thought of doing that :o

It gives me a date of 25/01/2015 - so that sounds about right doesn't it??

    Thank you!! :T:T
Yes, that sounds about right based on the figures you gave. I only thought of it because I have spreadsheets for almost everything.

  • Elle, I think you shouldd tell him how you're feeling and why... He deserves to feel bad for it... And then get Ss to set him on fire... Whilst wearing him as a shoe...

Has anyone tried those Tetley Redbush teabags?? Are they just tea or like herbal?

Anything like Earl Grey? I only like Tea with milk in, love Earl Grey.
