Sami/Glam I must have missed that. And it's probably a good think I didn't go to Ikea, i'd have found loads of things I needed!
Sami - late as ever. :rotfl: I can't wait until Christopher starts school.
Tia Well said. :T
Gisi I worry that black & white is too boyish!
V had a bright striped cardi and hat on today with lots of pink in the stripes, and an old man in the post office called him a handsome chap.:beer:0 -
ooohhhh I am so not amused right now!!!!!
Last Saturday the kids stayed away and we went out. Next day their cousins went to the grans (where DS1 was). Then we were told 'oh by the way cousins are crawling with nits'. Now my head is flamin itchy!
I swear to it I will kill someone if I have headlice for the first time in my life because my SIL sends her kids away crawling with parasites (and an ear infection).0 -

So confused!
Excel experts - advice please?!
I never was any good at Excel or Maths
I'm trying to work out my debt free date, but want it to be automatic so that if i edit figures it will change itself? IYSWIM??
So i've got my debts, my surplus, and then a column with this formula
Debt to Creditor ÷ Total Debt x Surplus = Payment to Creditor
So it's easy to work out the amount of months i will be on the DMP, and divide by 12 to get 4.8 years. (So i think 4 years and almost 10 months?)
But anyway, how can i have a cell with April 2010 (DMP Start date), and add the 4.8 yrs to make new date?
Is that even possible?? I can't see how it would be :S (edit- it must be though cos i've seen something similar somewhere!)
If it comes up with a number instead of a date then you'll need to change the number format to "date".Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I think you'd need the 4.8yrs to be in days then you could have cell with =[name of cell with DMP start date]+([name of cell with the length in years]*365.25)
If it comes up with a number instead of a date then you'll need to change the number format to "date".
Omg - genius!! I never would have thought of doing that
It gives me a date of 25/01/2015 - so that sounds about right doesn't it??
Thank you!! :T:T0 -
He'd already said my present (necklace with Rhys' fingerprint on it) hadn't arrived, but he's been known many times to lie (to try to wind me up) and say something isn't here when it is. Didn't have my hopes up but it definitely isn't here but that was fine
He didn't mention my birthday all day, and when he got home he asked if I liked my card from Rhys - no, actually not really, it says mum on it and I'm his mummy not his mum (I know that sounds petty but I'd never get my grandma a card with nan on it ), didn't say anything though. Then I asked where my card from him was and he said "didn't get you one, didn't think i needed to get you one" This wound me up and up cos he kept saying he hadn't got me one, then finally produced it - so he was doing his usual stupid trick of trying to wind me up
Also turns out I'm just getting the necklace.. no other little present at all. Probably also sounds petty and stupid and ungrateful, but that's not the way we do things. We always have a biggie present and 5-6 silly small things (fav choc, silly socks, kids toys) but I have nothing else
Just feels like he's really not made the effort.. I've had a really !!!!!! year and some spoiling on my birthday wouldn't have gone a miss, that's all
