Sorry sweetie. I haven't been able to go back. Life is a bit tough in MFD world ATM.

    A race?

LOL - the only thing I can think is that I was due before you but Fergie is a much better timekeeper than my laid back Benjamina :rotfl:

How you doing my lovely? Got your head around all your nasty work stuff yet? xx
sorry it's tough with you :( your poor sore back.

Yeah you welcomed me to the PG thread and then said, 'oh I'm due 3 days before you! Race ya!'

so a belated ner ner ner ner nah!

It seemed wrong to make that joke then when you were overdates and fed up :o

Perhaps I still haven't picked my best timing!

Nasty work stuff's still nasty, but at least I feel like I can leave it alone til after Kester comes now.

PS being born is about the only thing that fergie's managed to do before your very fantastic benjamina!
    ;)

i have my driving lesson in 50mins but im cuddled up on the sofa with a blanket it and its cold outside :undecided x
    :)Still searching .....:)
  • SS - I thought I quoted you but it would appear not.

Thank you for thinking of me but I think things are just getting on top of me. I haven't felt this stressed/down for a long time - part of me wonders if the back is partly stress induced.

Just keep letting me have a little moan now and again and I will try not to put too much of a downer on the thread :o

We are hoping to book a holiday (which we can ill afford but la la la) for the end of March and whilst this might be bad timing as far as work is concerned it will be good timing for our little family. The only downside is that we won't be able to take DSS but we gave him a choice of coming with us now or us taking him to Center Parcs in May and he was bouncing around at the thought of going back to CP!!

    :rotfl::rotfl:

Benjamina is indeedy fantastic but I am without doubt that if we put our boys together there would be tons of stuff that Fergie can do that Benjamin can't do! Benjamin just did the rolling/sitting/crawling/standing stuff first!! After Ferg's little standy uppy triumph last week he may well start walking before Benjamin...who is still not interested in taking more than a couple of steps then clapping himself for falling over!!

See - I didn't even mention hair and teeth :D

The tinned version of mushy peas has 0% of RDA of vitamins A and C, 0% calcium and a 110g serving has 8% RDA of iron and 12% sodium (based on 2000kCal). Those are just soaked peas with water and some preservatives, so I'd guess sodium is lower with the dried ones but everything else is the same :)

    HTH?

MFD you're never a downer, please don't feel like you can't whinge when you need to.

In other news, the curry we had last night wasn't great, and the shrimps weren't cooked properly. Want to ask me how I know that? _pale_
I'm just glad we didn't give Molly any.

My big girl has walked to school on her own today (with two boys from her class) and i'm being a big worry-pants.
She's been nagging on about it for months, and mentioned it to my Mum yesterday. Rather than back me up, Mum told L I walked to school alone from 7 :(.
I started walking to school on my own when I was five. (But there were no roads to cross.)

ETA: I've just remembered. Does anyone else worry that RL people stalk them through MSE and read posts?
I'm always worried my mum might find me on here. There are certain boards I never post on because I know she goes on them but I doubt she would come on this one. Fortunately my eBay user name which she found out is completely different to any user names I have anywhere else.

Woohoo, carpet's done :D £30, not bad for 45mins work! Wish I was on an hourly rate like that :o
But by the time you take into account all the unpaid hours he does and the costs he has and the fact he doesn't get paid holiday he probably doesn't earn anywhere near that. What my OH actually earns taking into account expenses, holidays and all hours worked is about 40% of the hourly rate he charges customers.

    yep was me :o.

It's a decision I made myself a while ago (trying to keep to it)

And I love meeting others willing to give it a go too.
The thing I find difficult is avoiding overcompensating. So for instance it's very important to me that Alice knows I love her but then I worry that I tell her excessively often that I do.

  • Afternoon all. Everyone who's not feeling too great today please have a (((hug))) from me and Alfie.

I had to get out of bed earlier this morning as had MW appointment at 9.30 so I'm another one needing a nap this afternoon.

Had Alfie weighed though and he's put on 11oz since last Monday! He's got right chubby little cheeks now :D

Weezl I haven't forgotten about the pool, DH is going to go weigh it today for you.

I don't think it's possible to say it too much :D (at least I really hope not because I tell Christopher I love him about 100 times a day!)

oh SJ please save him the bother, I looked your one up and it's 6 kilos so I've allowed half a kilo for some sorta packaging how does that sound?:) I think Parcelforce 48 will do it for £16. I think I've found a liner supplier which can be here in time too :)

Phew. I just have no idea what would be "normal" as I have no memory of my mum ever saying it.
