Did anyone see them make the fish pie on TM last week? I'm going to try and do it later - sorry for a daft question but how do you wilt spinach? Do you just boil it for a few seconds/minute? Never had spinach before!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0

PP I just throw carefully washed spinach into a frying pan and put some heat under it till you can see it start wilting. No boiling!! No steaming!!
Weezl marrowfat peas are just marrowfat peas in the US
Edit: try also maro, because that's the Japanese name and apparently there's some usage of both names. Are you looking for nutritional information?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

 It's nine o'clock and we haven't had breakfast!...
ETA: I've just remembered. Does anyone else worry that RL people stalk them through MSE and read posts? After my moaning last week about my Mum and MIL doing nothing useful when V was born, when Sami (for example) is spoiled rotten by hers.
Mum turned up yesterday with a homemade corned beef & onion pie for us, an hour later MIL turned up with a homemade banana and sultana cake.
Weezl - what you said about dominoes was amazing, did you come up with that analogy or is it a standard one? - made we well up anyway and I'm going to nick it

Sorry can't possibly read 40 pages to catch up. Have only read this page.
Took Joe to Build a bear in Manchester on Saturday. He is now the proud daddy to
Cheeky the Karate Suit wearing Monkey.
Made a change getting out of Wigan.
OH went out, (sigh) his brother paid. Because the bank of me was closed.
And Alex is back to waking many times in the night. (Double sigh).
Glam, your OH sounds like mine. Proper stroppy. I spent an hour with Alex in his room between 4 and 5am trying to get him back to sleep. At 5am I gave up and brought him in with us. Much sighing from his dad. And a lot more at 6.30am when Alex decided it was wakey, talkey time. Stuff it, why should i go in the spare room and have no sleep, while he gets a full night in, whilst trying to get over his severe hangover. Payback time.:D
Also thanks for the suggestions for my neices birthday. I asked her what she wanted me to get her, she said Heelys. I said sorry love far too expensive. Then i found these http://www.sportsdirect.com/heelys. I ordered her a pair in her size for £15 at 10pm on Friday and they were delivered today at 8.30am on the standard delivery. Just suggesting it, in case anyone has any older children with birthdays coming up. You are restricted with the sizes, but i thought they were a bargain.0 -

weezl, TBH I'd never heard of marrowfat peas until I moved here!
It's not something I have ever seen or had in the USA, but with a lot of foods it might be more popular in another region that I'm unaware of. Sorry that's not more helpful...the closest I would think of calling it would just be "dried peas", but you said you've searched that...
eta: Googling tells me it's not something that exists in USA food culture, as it seems the only place to buy marrowfat peas in the USA is from British/Irish import stores/sections!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
