MM, can I pick your brains? Our house is currently worth approx £275k. We have managed to pay our mortgage off :j If we bought a house worth say £360k, what would be the best way to raise the difference? Is a mortgage our only option? We have no other debts and wouldn't want a mortgage for any more than a max of 15 years probably 10 ....

I'm sure she'll be on later, but we have the same amount of equity and then moved. A mortgage is your only way, but as you don't have any other debt like us and the % on your next house that you are borrowing is quite low it does mean you can get the best rates. We also picked less years. We also fixed for 10yrs.

Back from IKEA. Got some bits for Jack's room and some bibs with sleeves.
Christopher is so lovely, he wanted to hold mine & Sami's hand to cross the road so Sami and I ended up crashing into each other cos we were pushing pushchairs one handed lol!

Put Jack in the IKEA Highchair (name escapes me again) Antilop?
It is way better than the one I have! Think I might buy one for when we go and stay with people as it seems handy to take down.

Went to ASDA and bought some whoopsied chickens for £1.30! :money:
I say some, I bought 4. One for tea and then 3 for the freezer

I always tell Jack i love him every day - I tell my mum on the phone but not my Dad - I do love him just don't tell him

I've loved my day off (despite the 2 spent in the doctors this morning), had a lovely walk with Katie and got all of my washing done, just have to dry it now, I'm avoiding using the the tumble dryer so it's draped all over the house.

I feel most productive.

We put Henry in the Antilop in the Ikea cafe and he loves it! We will get him one when he's a bit bigger, but for now he just enjoys it when we go there!

Okay, you've put me to shame now! Although I have listed 8 items on eBay- would have done more but H woke up and needed cuddles.

Reading about some of your Mums makes me grateful mine is just a bit mad. If we see something about an eccentric person on TV, OH always tells me he can imagine my Mum doing that!
